  1. Total price, $52.00, send money to Paul Meyer, 11694 Mark Twain Lane, Bridgeton, Mo. 63044 By the way, the red pickup is not a FLOWER CAR, it was converted from a '42 Limited to a pickup at the factory for Ed Ragsdale, VP of GM and General Manager of Buick. Now you know, thanks, Paul
  2. Got over to Fed Ex today, the shipping is $27 to the address that you gave me, is it a business or residence, if it's a business, it will be a bit cheaper, thanks, Paul
  3. Someone out there has to have an old, original '39 Special or Century 4 door drivers door panel. I'm restoring an original car, back to it's 'used' condition, and the door panel is missing. It only came in one color fabric. If it has holes or worn places at the handles, so much the better, it will match the other side. I've tried Dave Tacheny, no luck as of now. If you know of one, or someone who has one, please get in touch with me, 314-574-9853 or 42buickman@gmail.com, thanks, Paul
  4. Someone out there in this huge internet land of Buicks has to have an original drivers door panel for a '39 Special 4 door. I don't want a perfect one, one that has all the normal holes etc. from knuckles by using the handles etc. is what I am looking for. It has to be fabric, no leather or vinyl. I've checked the books, and they only offered one color in the cars with fabric interior, some sort of dirty tan. I'm restoring an original car, and the drivers door panel is missing, for some unknown reason. I've tried Dave Tacheny, he usually just rips them off if someone wants something from inside the door, but, he is still looking for another one. I've looked at my '39 Century, and it seems to be the identical one. If you have one, or know of someone who may have one, please contact me. 314-574-9853 Thanks, Paul
  5. I'll get on it maybe tomorrow, or first of the week. I need to know the address to get an accurate quote on the shipping. Thanks, paul
  6. If you're wanting to use the 'original' fastening strips, I have a real nice set, approx. 65 inches long, $25 plus shipping. Paul
  7. I have a '48 RM 4 door parts car, I'll look at the door extension, if the snow and sleet ever stops, perhaps Saturday, Paul in St. Louis, Mo
  8. Mine is a model 44-C, don't know how much would be the same. Paul
  9. 248 or 320 size makes a world of a difference in the price. What size are you looking for ?
  10. No paint in the side trim, and, why is the car paint very nice, but, the headlight doors all chipped up, someone forgot to paint them till it was too late.
  11. Anxiously awaiting the "more later", sounds interesting, Paul
  12. A remote possibility, did someone put an extra long bolt into the mount and puncture the water jacket, sounds feasable to me. Take the bolt out and see if water is "running" out, and if it is, bingo, you've found the problem. Paul
  13. I've taken the front end off my dual side mounted '39 a couple of times, its relatively easy. Don't forget to take the bumper and brackets off first, don't mess up the sheet metal. ha ha It you have 3 people, its easy to do. One on each side and one in front for balance, but it can be done with just 2 guys. Happy Removing, Paulo

  16. I'm in need of the passenger side rocker trim for a '78 Regal Sport Coupe. It is the full length of the body, from wheel well to wheel well. It is taller at the front and rear of the door. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks, and have a happy and prosperous new year
  17. Just happened to run onto this, and was wondering if you may have the driver door panel with worn upholstery, and if so, so you want to part with it. I am in need of a used panel for a car that I'm putting back together, and I want it to match the rest of the car. Thanks, Paul
  18. Keep in mind that a chain or bolt that is pulled steadily is very strong, but if you jerk it, it may break. They don't like sudden snaps.
