  4. The 59 is my car. It is a LeSabre conv (4467) with the 364 2bbl. Currently the heads are off at the machine shop. But as they say - everything is for sale 😉 At best a number 3 car. It's been in the family since the mid-eighties. Pat

  17. GM lit claims 30 foot range.
  18. Just a small addition. I had the same issue, and I purchased a relay from Advanced Auto (under $11.00). As noted above it did not have the correct mounting and connector lock. However the inside of both relays is easily removed, so I swapped them and all is well. Pat G 90 Convertible
  19. I am restoring currently, there are 2 rubberized drain tubes that take the water from the cowl out into the fenders. Any chance that you have those?
  20. Hello Riv buddies. I wanted to do a "nice thing" for my son. So while he is using my truck to move this week, I decided to repair the opera lamps on his 92 Riv. Well, now that the unit is off the car, I can't see how you get in it to replace the bulb! I am guessing that GM expects you to just buy the new marker assy at $55 each. I am hoping somebody here has experimented with cutting these open and just putting in a new bulb. Hints ?? Advice?? Pat Gaglione ROA 8209 (NC)
  21. Below is the text of an ad that will appear in the Jan/Feb Riview. This is a co-worker of mine, but he's in another state so I have never seen the car in person. Anyway, he inherited the car, doesn't really care to be a Riv owner (go figure!) and asked my advice on how best to sell it. I suggested that he get the bumper fillers and include them, since that is the one obvious defect. And I offered to place the ad in the Riview for him. Seems to me that this may be one of the lowest mileage 83's left. 1983 Riviera Convertible ONLY 17,700 miles. Original owners. Exterior White. Interior 45/45 6-way power seats in Red Leather. 4.1 liter 4 BBL V-6. Excellent overall condition. New bumper fillers included but not installed. $16,000. Vehicle in FL. Call 813-991-5148 and see photos here
