  1. Sorry...no other Chrysler parts that I know of. Thanks for asking. Bob
  2. I would not want a set...I have the lens holder, I just need the can.
  3. I understand that this coil base was used on the 1939 Super Eight. If it has other application, I would appreciate knowing. I'll take $50 and provide free shipping to lower 48; other locations please ask. Thanks for looking... Bob Supina
  4. I have this ORIGINAL shop manual which has a tatty cover and the binding is broken, BUT most of the pages are in near perfect condition. The only pages which seem to have some staining (water/ oil) are in the alternator section. This manual is about 1.5" thick. I think $30 plus shipping from 77406 would be fair for an original manual. Please ask questions. Bob
  5. I have had Ford products all my life and I can't remember when I bought this item. At one time I had a '67 Mercury Colony Park wagon. Could this be for the tailgate? It doesn't look like a door lock.. Also, I do not know if the bar is intentionally bent or if it happened by accident during storage. I'll take $35 with free shipping to lower 48. Other locations...additional shipping.
  6. I removed this set from a car back in the 1980s. One piece is slightly bent, which is indicated at the red arrow. I doubt if you will find them at your local dealer! I am asking $60 plus shipping. P.S. I also have a hood and the top fender trim.
  7. I have this coil base which I am told is for the 1939 Super Eight. $50 with free shipping to lower 48 States. Other locations will be considered.
  8. USPS is having lots of problems in Houston area. I received the MO last Friday. Just brought wife home from hospital at 5PM. Will ship by end of week.
  9. A USPS postal money order for $275 will be acceptable made out to Robert P. Supina. Robert P. Supina 20 W. Kitty Hawk St. Richmond, TX 77406.
  10. I have been fooling with 1937 Seniors since 1963 and I have to admit I have never seen an assist strap like that. I suppose there is always the possibility that there was a custom bodied 1507 that had that non-Packard strap.
  11. I have three motometers on our 326 and 526 Packards. The radiators are red, gold and black. Is there some significance to the colors? years? or did the owners choose the color to match the car? Bob
  12. Thanks for the post. It sounds very logical... something i had never thought about. Bob
  13. Thanks for all who responded. I have placed my order at restorationstuff.com. Bob
  14. Thanks. I find it odd that the Four back fender curves down whereas the Six flares straight back.
  15. Found this picture postcard and wonderedwhat it is. any help would be appreciated.
  16. Does anyone know of a source for the beveled glass for the Packard motometer.? It is 2.26" in diameter.
  17. I am told this fits a 22nd -23rd Series short wheelbase Std and Super 8. It is in excellent condition. Asking $45 including free shipping to lower 48 States.
  18. Just found this forum. What information is being tracked? This is 1003-1566. We have this 1937 Super Eight 1500 which I bought in 1980 when the museum in Odessa, TX was closing down. I was able to track down the original owner in Oadby, England and speak to her on the phone. Several years later, when visiting her granddaughter in Scotland, I was presented a VHS tape of her mother being driven to the church for her wedding. She chose the 'foreign' car rather than the Rolls or Daimler. It had 8,756 original miles when I got it.
  19. I looked on Amazon and most of the units have circular coils which could not be used. Some had a straight line, which I guess could be wrapped around the hole in the head, but how would you put enough pressure on it to transfer the heat? Bob
  20. Heck, I can run up the temp of the head just by running the engine. With such a large membership, I am shocked that no one has crossed this bridge before. I appreciate all the suggestions. Thanks! Bob
  21. Thanks for commenting... I have not tried EvapoRust yet, but CLR clearly states not to use it with copper or brass.... Bob
