1. To all of my fellow veterans....

    [color:\\"blue\\"] Happy Veterans' Day!

Please remember and say a prayer for all of those that did not return and for all of our men and women that are presently serving our country.

  2. Keith,

Anytime that I have had to rent a car, I make sure it is a GM car. I will not accept any rice burner regardless of where it was assembled. Ford and Chrysler are not an option either. GM all the way and it had better be a full size luxury.

I've hit 3 deer over the past 30 years or so, and as you....no injury. Cars can be replace or repaired. Well, maybe not our beloved classics.

    Have a better day tomorrow.

    Stevo

  3. I agree totally with Roberta. I have been driving in the Buffalo winters for 45 years and have driven both RWD and FWD. If you know what you are doing and treat the car and weather with the respect that they deserve, you can handle any conditions. I can not ever remember geting stuck in the snow. Everyone knows that Buffalo gets anywhere from 1 inch to 8 feet of snow in a single night. Bring it on, another winter is upon us and I look forward to the challenge.

  4. Lamar,

I have always admired the Europeans and their appreciation of the past. Europeans will keep the same property in the family for hundreds of years and think that something 100 years old is "new". Here in the good ole USA, we build crap and tear everything down in 20-30-40 years. I have family in Europe that have been in the same place for generations and are damn proud of being there.

    Jan,

Great home in the background, again.... nice touch with the arch.

    Lamar,

    How's the calendar?

  5. Do you know what the purpose of a title is ? Do you know that a title is specific to a particular car? How are you going to account for the fact the serial number on the title and the car are not the same or are you playing the longshot that you will just stumble upon the exact title you need for your particular car? Oh well, maybe I am living in a dream world.

  6. Lamar,

No need to worry about posting Terry's pictures. We are all civilized and gentlemen. Besides, we all would like to see more pictures of Buttercup and Terry. A calendar should be produced, it would be much better than any calendars we have all seen hanging in garages. This one would be innocent fun from a vey lovely Georgia Peach.

  8. Finger Lakes Chapter....Well done. You may all take a bow for the great job you did in hosting the National. I am sure at times you felt like jumping in front of a speeding 58 Buick but that was only natural. The thing you could not control (namely the rain) did not even put a damper (ooopppsss) on the events of the day.

To ALL OF THE MEMBERS AND COMMITTEES.....JOB WELL DONE!!!! [color:\\"blue\\"]

  9. Thanks Roberta. There were some members that thought I was being a wise guy but I see there were many that needed to clarify the schedule. The 7-3-05 update is there even though there is no change from the previous schedule which still says 3-15-05 revision.

Thanks again....see you all in Batavia.

  10. The heat must be playing tricks with my mind....I could have sworn that I finally saw an update to the events dated 7-3-05. When I went back in to print the update, it was gone. ???????????what happened?????????? [color:\\"red\\"]

  11. I have seen build sheets placed under the driver's seat. It will be shoved in between the seat upholstery and the frame. One problem is....it might be dry rotted from heat and humidity. You have to pull it out very carefully and then try to place the pieces together so you can copy it. Hopefully you will not be missing as much as I did. [color:\\"blue\\"]
