  1. You might want to check out the July 2007 Bugle to see some photos of the UNYBCA participation in a prior event at ESAM.
  2. One of my PC challenged friends asked me if I could help him locate information about a Blue Book Car Club of Manhattan that was located in NYC circa 1919. He's an antique car guy with a number of early Fords. He's also a vintage truck guy who is fascinated with the 1919 Locomobile tow truck (with 1919 tow apparatus) which is where he first heard of this club. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks
  3. Here's the B-J link:
  4. I'm opposed to any large dues increase. Why not go to an on-line issue of the Bugle and make the print copy an optional, extra cost item members can choose or not? If enough people opted for an online version the dues might actually be reduced based on the postage savings. This way it can be read and archieved compactly instead of in a pile in the attic/basement/etc.
  5. I have a couple of "DOHs": My dad was getting rid of his pristine '79 Electra coupe and neither of my sons wanted it and I had no room for it. He gave it to his God son who pimped it out and then wrecked it. I bought an '85 Vette instead of the '87 GNR my wife wanted me to buy. Today, I can still afford to buy an '85 Vette- but not an '87 GNR. I deserve a GIANT slap in the head. The good news is after selling the Vette I got my '70 Skylark which I will never sell.

Just to put things in perspective. Thanks!
  7. Only 1 car for me: the car I should have bought when I bought my '85 Vette - 1987 GNR which I will own one day.
  8. A 1963 Simca Aronde, 4 speed column shift, in 1966. Plus all the "jewels" I drive at the auction.
  9. "It has a Custom Fabricated suspension (NOT A BOLT ON KIT)" Is that supposed to instill some feeling of safety if you were to drive this car or, better, if this car was behind you on the highway and had to make a panic stop?

  11. I'll take on of these:
  12. Remember that actress killed in CA by a stalker who found her by getting information from the CA DMV? Since then you won't get any info from NYSDMV. Rightly so, in my opinion.
  13. Car is located in Smithtown, NY:
