    330 mods.

can anyone out there tell me if the 330 desoto hemi can be bored to 341, or even 345 size during rebuild??? i believe it would take about .060 to 341 and .080, to get to 345, which were the sizes of the next year's options. the only difference, according to the spotter's guide, is the bore. any comments appreciated. 3. hi folks, new guy with a question. mopar made a flathead 6 for about a hundred years, until about 1959. question . how late a model of this engine will fit in 46 to 48 plymouth. i know the later desoto, chrysler engs were a little longer, but i am not averse to swapping parts to make it work. i am trying to update without any cuttig and welding if possible. also what about the later, slant 6, and the 56 desoto 330 hemi. can they be swapped with minimal hassle. ive done swaps before but without any effort to avoid cutting and welding. the hemi im sure would interfere with the steering, but otherwise, will it go in with mostly parts swapping?????
