  1. Hi Dave and all who have helped me, I Googled "Marquette Auto" and came up with a nice historic page. From the info you have provided I have found the specs on these cars, printed them off, and am placing them in the photo albums I'm creating. The Marquette looks like such a neat old car! Wish our family's would have stayed in the family until today! Again, thanks a million for all the info and help. I'm off to the antique airplane people to ID WWII planes my uncles flew..... Take care Bobbi McCaffrey St. Charles, IL
  2. Thanks again for the great guesses. Is there a car by the name of "Marquette"? I spoke with my 83 yr old uncle who is the young man in the picture. He had a hard time remembering this car. He said it might be a Marquette. I've never heard of it. Thank you all so much.
  3. Thanks for the good guesses. I really have no idea. I wondered if it might have been my dad's family's car. He and my mom are in the picture. When he bought his own cars they were always Fords. I was wondering if it was a Ford product. I have no recollection of what he might have said his dad's car was. I only know that as soon as he was able to drive he drove my grandfather around to local bars to sell the cigars the family hand-rolled. Thanks for the attempts. I have no better pictures of the car.
  4. Hi All, Back of this picture says Aug 1936. Looks like someone started to write a word beginning with M....scribble Thanks
  5. Hi All, Since my previous requests for ID were so easy (wink) I thought I'd try for 2 last ones. They are only partial-auto pictures. Back says May 1936 Thank you
  6. Thank you again! My uncle owned this car. He is 90 now. He couldn't remember the make of the car but he remembered he was very proud of it.
  7. WOW! That was quick! Thank you SO much!
  8. Hi All, Here's the 3rd auto I would like ID'd. On the back it says: 1940 Thank you
  9. Hi All, Here's the 2nd auto I would appreciate ID'd. On the back it says: Sept 1941. Thank you
  10. Hi All, I found this group and hope it's the place to come for old auto IDs. I'm actually researching my family's genealogy. I'm organizing pictures. No one in the family seems to recall the year, make and model of these cars. I'm a stickler for detail and really hope to find out what the ID of these autos is. I have about 3 autos to ID. Thank you in advance for any help you can be. RavenFan
