  1. I'll take both cornering lights for more than your asking if you still have them. Thank-Tim
  2. The manufactuer tag inside the drivers door sure says "manufactured by Daimler". And when service is needed I HAVE to go to Mercedes Benz of Tampa--and pay their prices.
  3. Since my TC is still DOA in Alabama-cars and coffee will become a mensauto event for myself.....

  6. My lovely wife and I just updated our web site with pictures and links of the 20th anniversary TC event in Auburn Hills Michigan last month. Sorry it has taken so long to update. All of the photos are posted on flicker for your use. All TC owners who attended should have recieved a cd with the pictures and a DVD slideshow in the mail this week. If you were there and did not get pictures-drop me a note please. Thanks--Tim & Donna Cowan www.pentrident.com www.pentrident.com/2009tc20th.aspx www.flickr.com/photos/23471837@N00/
  7. Here are a few pics from Detroit. After almost a month I just got back to Florida yesterday. My car is still in Alabama waiting on a part. It's a LONG story that I'll post on my web site when I'm mentaly more stable and story is finally over. I will try to post all my 300 or so pictures on my site later this week. I will send a cd with all pictures to all that attended when I can. Thanks for your patience. Tim www.pentrident.com
  8. I'm in the same boat. I'm waiting on a new billet fuel rail and injectors before I can start for Michigan. My origional fuel rail decided 20 years was time to rust through on the bottom. I would like to NOT have a winnie roast on the way. Hope to see you there with or without your car.
  9. I wonder how many he claims to have. I hope he is not printing them in the back and selling them. BTW-I know the artist and know how many were made/reproduced. I sent this "art site" to him to verify. I am lucky enough to have a signed original in my gallery---er I mean living room.
  10. Go to the web site-- www.pentrident.com . All the info is there including the signup form you can print out and return. This has been planed over 8 months ago and we have very little contact from Michigan TC owners. I would love to do the Dream Cruise but one trip to Michigan a year is all I can afford. Maybe next year.
  11. Right now we have between 20-25 T/C's and owners coming to Auburn Hills for the 20th celebration at the Chrysler Museum. The dates are May 15th thru 17th. Full info is at www.pentrident.com .
  12. Sorry-I'm going to Detroit to celebrate the 20th anniverary of the TC with the Chrysler Corp. at the Auburn Hills museum. On May 20th I will be at the Indianapols Motor Speedway as it is Community Day at the track. I have made plans with the speedway to take a SLOW lap with our TC's and a session with Mr. Penske through my smart car connections.

  15. Do you have a part # ? Or how about this-remember, you get what you pay for. http://www.fwdperformance.com/Store/Product.asp?IDCatalog=44&ProductID=574
  16. That was part of the first run of cars. The wood and wood-look parts were not ready.
  17. The fake woodgrain was to be in ALL TC's. It was not an option. The pieces simply were not ready. So for the first 1.5-2 months of build-black pieces were used. The radio surround was black leather covered. Some like this look better. The shift knob on ALL automatic TC's sold were made-by hand-one at a time-by a little pipe maker outside of Milan. His pipes sold for hundreds to thousands of dollars. I'm lucky enough to own 2 of his pipes. He passed away in 1999. RIP
  18. Hey--how do you get over 40mpg--you get what I did to save miles on my TC's.

For those who haven’t been before, Cars and Coffee is a free get together for custom cars as well as high performance cars. Marc Norton (Alabama) and I were lucky enough to attend in December. They had somewhere between 150 to 200 cars. Ferrari’s, Corvettes and Lamborghini’s are the norm and DuPont’s museum is also open for tours. Directions to the site are as follows:It is held at the DuPont Registry Between St.Petersburg and Clearwater Florida. Take Ulmerton Road to 34th street and head south on 34th. 20. If you like following the rollercoaster that is the U.S. auto industry today--I think this is one of the best sites I know of. News is fresh everyday--and in 5 to 10 min you get all the latest news every day straight from Detroit. http://www.autolinedetroit.tv/daily/
  21. This was an article in Detroit in 1998. Some interesting points. I still love my TC's. http://info.detnews.com/joyrides/story/index.cfm?id=181
  22. Ah--that would be the "TC Special Reserve" white and red. I belive Hemi has a set of those.
  23. Hey Alan--you should take a picture of your TC wine. Make all the other west coasters jealous.
  24. Hey Inventorgtp----see the enclosed link. http://www.ststurbo.com/
  25. The twin turbo 3.0 mitsubishi motor has about 5% in common with the BASE single cam unit in the TC. The twin won't come close to fitting in a TC. It also required 4 wheel drive to come close to putting its power to the ground. One of the most dangerous cars to drive in history. Ask Rick Diogo sometime. Almost killed him and his mother. By the way--a tuneup on that motor-due every 50,000-was/is $2300. Takes 2 days labor and removal of the top end of the motor to get to the plugs. ENJOY
