  1. I have a rear axle with the name *SAUSBURY* embossed on the back/rear. The wire wheels are held on by an axle nut.The previous owner said it was from a Marmon. Does anyone know what this was used on ??? thanks ford

  5. Found this in my stash and I have no idea what it is from. Can someone help ??
  6. According to Sorensen's book;5131-delux and 9413 std. 112" wheelbase. There are not a lot of suvivors. I have checked ebay for 3 years ,for parts, and have only seen 3.
  7. I have been going thru my dads collection and culling any parts that I will never have a use for. I found a box with several nos clutch facings. They are US Asbestos, 9 X 6 1/4 X 1/8. The box says for 19'-21' Cleveland, 21'-23' Elcar, 20'-26' Overland. Are these good to use after setting on a shelf for probably 50 years ?? Ford
  8. Yes please send a photo of your axle. The one in the above post compares to an early ford as mine does to a 60/70 chev.
  9. The rearend in question looks like a common style with a rear cover plate. Cast or embossed on the cover is the name *sausbury*. Two conspicuous stars on either end which may help to date it.
  10. Finally able to dig out the barn doors. Upon inspection the front wheels are held on with 3 bolts and located on 3 pins. These are Kissel. The rear wheels are held on by a nut under a hubcap or some combination of the two. Of the dual spares there is one for each axle. Tell me what or where to look for Marmon evidence and I will proceed further. ford
  11. No pictures. I believe he meant complete rear end. I know the wheels in front are slightly different than the rears. Someone said all 4 wheels are Buffalo style. Not sure what that means. There is also a fender mounted spare for each axle. One axle has 3 bolts and 3 pins??
  12. I need fender skirt trim for a '73 Caprice Conv. What other years are the same ??
  13. I have an early 20's Kissel with what the previous owner said was a Marmon rear end. How can I verify that it is Marmon ??
