  1. I hope to have clearer photo's posted in the next few days. Car has rustout on the fenders in spots. The interior is chewed up, Have not been able to get at the motor to turn over, probably seized. I don't have the time or cash to start a restoration on this one. Once I'm able to get it home I'll be able to figure something out,but I'll probably put it up for sale to fund the 37 Olds revival. It's too bad it wasn't stored better, oiled up and covered.

  2. Thanks again. Is there anywhere on the body on maybe tailight, interior that would have a nameplate? the data plate on the firewall has FISHER BODY, JOB NO.6920( not sure of numbers) and below that BODY NO.4977. It has been too cold and dark every time I go out to the barn it's in, but tomorrow I'm going back with a flashlight in the morning light.

  3. Can anybody identify this? I bought it from a retired GM dealer. I think it's a Buick, Data plate states General Motors of Canada. I don't know if you can read the info on the photo enclosed. I'm going back this week to move it and a 37 (I think) Oldsmobile.

  4. Hi Guys. If any members are interested I know where there are 2(or more)early to mid 50's Packard sedans sitting in the corner of a wrecking yard in London Ontario, Canada. Probably the local guys may know of them, but if not they are in a truck yard in east London just one block west of Shaw's Auto Recyclers. I do not know anything else about them, but they may make for a good scavenger hunt!

  5. These were not really very rare due to "Exclusive limited production run" at Chrysler, but a "paint & sticker" package on a then 5 year old design running out of customers. Decent enough car, not too high on collectors list but if in good shape list it for $4000 OBO and see what happens!

  6. The 1978 Dodge Lil'Red Express was referred to as "The Last American Muscle Car" by the automotive press of the day,(late 78-early 79).But in the 80's the Monte Carlo SS ,Hurst/Olds, Buick GN carried the torch, maybe not as bright as the late 60's early 70's cars but still shone in comparison to the rest of the mundane junk offered up at the time. Ther have been others since, but the one that comes to mind first to me is the current Chrysler 300C/Dodge Magnum Hemi. Thanks.
