  1. Congratulations Matt, I hope to see this incredible machine soon. Any hints on the other car? High horse brass? Thanks Dennis
  2. Photos above courtesy of the ACD museum, This is the pump that I’m looking for, Dennis
  3. Hello Dale I sent you a pm Dennis
  4. There's also the discussion about the proper lock washer for application. Internal star, external star or split. Common sense but worth mentioning.
  5. No photo as mine is missing. I hope to receive one from the ACD museum. If there is a Haynes owner that could help that would be great as well. A fairly small group. Your base is slightly larger than my baseplate. I have a couple of extra Kellogg brand and they are larger as well. I am fairly confident it was a single cylinder. Thanks again, Dennis
  6. Yes Gary, Your 4-bolt base appears larger than what I need. Do you happen to know these dimensions? I have sent an e-mail to the ACD museum as they did have one of these cars in their Indiana collection. Trying to limit the search by manufacturer, model, etc. Thanks for posting. Dennis
  7. Hello, Looking for one of the 1/2-20 flathead screws that hold the internal (foot] Brake bands. These are 3/4 " long and the head is cut to 1/8". Anybody that has done these brakes will recognize these oddball fasteners. Brake adjusting procedure or diagrams of the correct geometry of the actuating links would also be helpful. Thanks, Dennis
  8. Hello, Looking for an engine mounted compressor with a four bolt base. 2-11/16" x 2" centerline. I haven't been able to determine a manufacturer. This is for a 22 Haynes model 55 and is driven off the generator shaft on the right side of the engine. If you happen to know, please let me know. Working or rebuildable core OK. Thanks, Dennis
  9. Thanks guys, I have some of the 1” discs and that’s what I did before. I was hoping they might be available. Dennis
  10. Hello, Anybody have a source for the 5/8 round sight glass lense on the carburetor. I have made two, but I prefer not to make another if something is available. Thought about Lexan but I don't know how it would hold up to the fuel over time. Thanks, Dennis
  11. High tack may work. I would personally use Permatex aviation Dennis
  12. RW Actually gold plate is one of the less complex I have a good source in Ohio. If you don’t find a good local source Please let me know. Dennis
  13. Wayne Sorry but I am not able to help. I will let you know if I come up with anything Dennis
  14. Wayne,I have a black face Phinney Walker but it is smaller than yours. Let me look this weekend May have others Dennis
  15. Wayne, I may be able to help. It would be nice to know the make and some dimensions. Dennis
  16. Only reds carry a premium. All others are about the same. Good quality clears are over 1k per gallon. I’m enjoying resurrecting crusty originals more than restoration these days Dennis
  17. Like to recognize Bhigdog for his machining skills and willingness to help others. He just completed another project for me and I know he has helped numerous others on this forum. He does not do this as a business but rather to help out. His approach takes me back to the earlier days of the hobby. Who is your forum guru or how has this forum and it’s members helped you complete a project Thanks Bob Dennis
  18. I rebuilt my own with the help of my machine shop guru about twenty years ago. Still working perfectly. Dennis
  19. Dave, If you prefer silver, I would recommend Steve’s. I’ve had several done there. Dennis
  20. Dave, The outer ring controls the cowl and running lights Dennis
  21. Tdrix I sent you a pm
  22. We have good used and no’s floats and rebuild kits if interested. Dennis
  23. John, Im sure you realize that your pictures only show the inner tank and this must be removed to clean the outer tank and check the flap valve. The float guide pin is much easier to align with the tank out of the car . You show a wide flange inner tank that requires two gaskets. Dennis
