Tryloff I got you covered. Linus, let me know what all you need. I have your head gasket and a lot of mechanical parts.

I did business with Oak bows about three years ago. Bought a pair from Witmer recently. Mel was at Hershey this year. Witmer”s are bent to size for you to trim and chamfer but are very affordable. Dennis

AF, I packed your 8 cyl. gasket. I also came across my stash of Special six head gaskets and will have a few available. I will save them for you. Orange OBC57. Thanks Dennis
-
Jack , Please don’t. That Hup will never look the same. Very nice trailer if your in the market! Dennis

AF, The special and big six ae different part numbers with the same plate number. I suspected this due to the diameter of the fire rings. I currently do not have any extra special six gaskets. I can pack you an eight cylinder gasket if you like. Thanks, Dennis
-
Linus, Victor 190 and McCord 43. I could fix you up in a couple weeks. We have some parts to pick up after Hershey. AF I don't think the special and big share head gaskets. I'll check. Thanks , Dennis

Hello, I have extra head gaskets available for 38-42 eight and 18-28 big six. $40 each. I can pack these and bring to Hershey. Let me know if interested. Dennis

Gary, Thanks for posting the pictures. Looks like great fun. Was the oldest Stude really a 21? Dennis -
JR, As Jon said, look for rust in the perimeter rails and quarter panels. These are unibody and have unconventional bolt on rockers. Look underneath. If it’s a good car, you will be extremely happy with it’s road manners. Dennis

Hello Rand, I sent you an email yesterday. Thanks, Dennis

Looking for a fat man wheel. I have never installed one before. I assume I will need to pull the existing wheel to match the shaft. Is this correct? The steering gear is Ross. Ideas and leads appreciated. Dennis

I would be interested in the tires and tubes. I am looking for rollers at this time. I don’t want to put new rubber on only to have it sit for several more years. Let me know what you would want for them. Thanks , Dennis

Vin, I sent you a pm. Dennis

Hans, Thanks for looking. Dennis

Paul , That is a bushing driver set. Differs from the set above. The cone shape is for various clutch discs and various ends for different pilot bearings. Dennis

Grill looks correct. I think it may be the rusty verticals throwing it off. I think this car was discovered in Europe somewhere. If it’s in the states, I’m interested. Dennis Difficult to pin down a year without engine and chassis pics.

If that is your wheel , that rim spreader will not work. The outer ring is removed to facilitate tire removal. Yes, these are widow-makers. Use a couple of safety straps when inflating. Be sure the bead ring is properly seated. I did four yesterday. Dennis

Still looking. I don’t want to invest in new tires at this time. Could pick up at Hershey. Thanks, Dennis

Kenny, Try Northwest transmission in Ohio. 800-327-1955. Good folks. Dennis

Hershey items over the years that you've enjoyed

Anybody have the “Hershey big swapper” pinback badge. I’d like to buy one if possible. I lost my buddies about seven years ago and he’s still not over it. Dennis -
Joel, So happy it turned out with no damage or injury. Today, they are parking brakes, but they were truly emergency brakes. I spend as much effort on them as I do foot brakes. Stay safe! Dennis

Andy, Starter amp draw reading will answer most questions. Something often overlooked however: since the engine and starter have been rebuilt, has the paint been removed from the attaching surfaces. I still think you have a ground issue. Dennis
-
Andy, You need to check the amp draw of the starter. If within specs, It is most definitely a bad ground circuit. Dennis
