  1. I didn't have an opportunituy to visit the car corral this year since I was at my flea market spot. How were the prices and did many cars sell? Thank you.
  2. I was wondering why the gyro, pizza and pit beef stands were no longer in the chocolate field by the stairs? Just a Dunkin Donuts and pretzel vendor. Also, why were there no stands selling Hershey items this year? Thank you.
  3. I am trying to get a 1930 Model A Roadster back on the road after sitting idle for a few years. I am being told that the gas tank needs to be replaced due to corrosion or at least taken off and properly cleaned and sealed. Can anyone please direct me to someone who can do this work in the Paramus NJ area? Thank you very much.
  4. Can anyone recommend the best place to buy a replacement battery? Not Ford script. Thank you.
  5. The Old County Buffet in Harrisburg on Route 22 closed last year. We have been going there for many years.
  6. I noticed a new motel being built next door to the Days Inn in Grantville last October. Does anyone know the name of it? Thank you.
  7. I am an AACA member and would like to do something special for any middle school, high school or college senior during these challenging times. I am offering a free custom made 8x10 photo honoring their 2020 graduation with their first name on an airplane banner and their full name below it. Please see example below. Anyone interested should send the graduate's first and last name to fred@ontimewebdesign.biz. I will create the 8x10 photo and e-mail back a high quality PNG image suitable for printing and framing.
  8. I am a vendor and did not receive a survey via email.

    Thank You

I would just like to thank the Hershey AACA Region, all of the volunteers and security for another great Hershey! I have been attending Hershey every year since 1972 with my dad and this is my 5th year going alone since he passed away in 2014. It's not the same anymore but I hope to keep the tradition going.
  10. Thank you to the Hershey Region AACA for another great Hershey event! This was my 45th year - (I started when I was 8 years old with my dad). Traffic flowed nicely, everyone was so helpful as usual and the car show was great.
  11. Are mobility scooters for people with walking difficulties available to rent at Hershey?
  12. As someone who grew up going to Hershey with his dad since the age of 8 and never missing a single year - (I am now 52), I would like to thank everyone involved who worked so hard to put on another great show. Even though my dad passed away 3 years ago, my last words to him was a promise that I would keep the tradition going every October and never miss a Hershey show.
  13. I am selling my father's 1955 Chevy Belair Conv. He was a longtime proud AACA member who passed away last June. It has a 265 V8 and power top and was restored in 2012 - a very strong #2 car. He had over $70,000 invested in it but we realize that the car is valued closer to $60k. We are open to all serious offers. The car is located in Northern New Jersey. I have more pictures if needed. Thank you for your time and consideration. Fred Cell: 201-741-5654 freden@optonline.net
  14. This will be my 40th Hershey and I'm only 50 years old. As a kid, I always recalled Saturday being the "big day". I also recall the individual club car shows on Sunday - such fun. Sad to say but this will also be my first Hershey without my father as he passed away in June at the age of 83. He restored many cars and received 1st place awards at Hershey in the 1970's and 1980's. He lived for Hershey! I will be vending his 40 year collection of rare car parts in the Chocolate field next week. He would have wanted me to continue this annual tradition. Everyone in the Hershey AACA Region always does such a great job organizing this event. Thank you.
  15. This was my 40th year and I'm only 49 years old! It was great spending time with my father even if half the time it was in the motel due to the rain. Thanks to everyone at the Hershey Region AACA for another job well done!
  16. Glad to hear that Steve! The first thing I do on Wednesday is visit the AACA tent and pick up a Hershey t-shirt.
  17. First of all, many thanks to the Hershey Region for another well organized and fun show! As a vendor in the Chocolate field near the food court, we all noticed a lot less people this year than last year on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. We had more items this year and reduced our prices in some cases by half and yet only a few people stopped, looked, picked it up 3 or 4 times and kept walking. I guess it is economy and the internet and we still had a great time. We will always come back to the greatest car show ever! Did anyone else notice less foot traffic in the flea market areas? Maybe it was just our area that was the only one with less foot traffic.
  18. Nicely restored 1957 Thunderbird Resto-Mod. Will be at RM Auction in Hershey on 10/11/12. Click here for information and many photos: 1957 Ford Thunderbird Convertible Resto-Mod
  19. I believe I read the preview event was $30.00 per person.
  20. There is a new website called New Jersey Car Shows that offers free listings for New Jersey car shows, swap meets, cruise nights, cars for sale ads, etc...
  21. This was my 38th year in Hershey and congrats to the Hershey Region for another amazing and well organized event! As a longtime vendor in the Chocolate field annex, we noticed less people this year over last year and many empty spaces - (and last year was light too). Sales were ok on Wednesday morning and terrible on Thursday and Friday. It didn't even pay to open on Saturday as many spectators were at the car show. Has anyone else noticed this too or was it just our part of the field? I know the economy is very shaky and E-Bay is way too convenient and impersonal, but I hope this is not a trend. Nothing will ever replace a great show like Hershey.
