  1. Here is a blowup of the disc brakes.
  2. Whatever happened to the New York car?
  3. That may not be the original drive shaft. The one on your car looks thicker on the end compared the the latest photo. Plus, you can see the indents in the floor pan to accommodate the driveshaft so that it can go above the support arm. I had a 55 limo and mine was like the last picture above the support.
  4. Does anyone recognize this MOPAR clip from 1950’s -1960’s?
  5. Found in a box of random MOPAR parts. Any idea what it is and where it goes?
  6. in Does this look familiar to anyone? Was in a box of random MOPAR parts.
  7. This is a MOPAR clip. Guess it is 1950’s or early 1960’s. Look familiar to anyone?
  8. Have two of these they look like they could be for a light either parking or tail. However, I can not find the part number that is on the tag and on both pieces in any of my parts books. 872496. On the tag attached to the parts below the part number is written, reinforcer 21 D15. There is no D15 for a Dodge car. Anyone seen these or know what they go to? They were with a bunch of MOPAR parts. Thanks. Tag in the next discussion.

This looks familiar but can not place what it goes to or where. There was a part number on the envelope 820101 but none of my MOPAR parts books from 1935-1959 have that number.
  10. That was my guess but it was in a parts bin with a unreadable tag on it and looks like the bend is original.
  11. Does this rod look familiar? It came out of a MOPAR dealership. I am guessing in the range of 1935-1965. It is very fine thread so that should age it somewhat. It has a slight off set as well as a bend in it. Thanks in advance for your help.
  12. Send me a private message with your offer.
  13. Anyone collecting or interested in stuff from American Motors? I have some I will hunt up if any interest. For instance Cross pens with the logo in color or in silver. Gold pens & pencils are 1/2012 kt gold fill. Dealership info Mid Atlantic Region. Jeep stuff too.
  14. Any idea what this is and what it goes to? I believe it is a Chrysler Corp part but Chrysler, DeSoto, Dodge, Plymouth? Looks like it could be associated with a door. The ends are spring loaded and push back. The plastic bag it’s in has a part number written on it but I can not find it in my books so not sure if it belongs to it, 1561726.
  15. Does anyone recognize this part and what it goes to? The left and right ends move back on a spring action. The plastic bag they are in has a part number 1561726 but it isn’t in my parts books so I don’t know if it is a good number.
  16. Howard, did you find your wiper motor yet?
  17. That part was also used on 1940 and 1941 Dodge, and DeSoto cars.
  18. If you haven't found one yet you might look at DeSoto, Chrysler, Plymouth 1940. Lots of parts were the same for the other brands and may have been used in other years. Usually, each year was different but in a lot of cases they were carried over and shared. If you look in the Master Parts list catalogs for each brand of Chrysler brand cars you can match up by part number to see which cars used the same parts and for which years.
  19. Don't believe so. Take a look at the 1938 discussion stream at the Dodge Brothers/Dodge location, there are pictures of the running boards from my car there.
  20. What is involved in registering the use of a personal electric convenience vehicle at Hershey?
  21. Had to break out my Standard Catalog of American Cars after seeing your pictures and familiarize myself about the Cole, It had a short life span but produced some good looking cars. Wonder what would have happened to the brand had Cole taken the offer from Durant to join GM and where would it have fit in the lineup? Being from West Michigan how did you get interested in the Cole family of cars?
