  1. Bill, Thank you very much for the quick response! This helps a bunch. Just curious, where do you find this typw of information? Thx again. Cheers, Rick Carver <img src="http://www.aaca.org/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />
  2. (Does not appear to have posted the first time)... Holy Cow! Recently bought a 1936 Dodge Brothers business coupe from my brother in Kansas. I live in Colorado, and they require a VIN inspection to issue a COlorado title. Here in lies my problem. The VIN on the Kansas title does not match anything I can find! I have had Kansas DMV pull up a title history and found the following. 1.) The car was purchased back in 1962 from a scrap yard. The id # on that title was D2169192. 2.) My uncle then bought it and did an "engine exchange" and a new title was issued with a new ID # of 426TMP. Uncle sold the car to my brother, which I recently bought... so the title says 426TMP. Uncle is no longer around... if I recall, he restored the car in 1969'ish to race and put a 426 engine in to race (which I suspect has someting to do with the 426TMP on the title). That is gone and it now has a 383 plymouth engine in. 3.) The only number I can find is on the passenger door jam.. it is 4179918. NOthing on the firewall or the frame that I can find. Question: Does anyone know if the number on the passenger door jam or the above number D2169192 is a valid ID number. Any other ideas on where I might find a number? HELP!!!! This is crazy!!!! 3. Glen, Sorry for the slow response. Did you ever get the door sizes? Not sure exactly what you are looking for. I could measure. Let me know. CHeers, Rick - Colorado
  4. Greetings, Does anyone know where I can get a complete set of window mouldings/rubbers for this bad boy? Just getting started! CHeers, Rick
  5. Hi, Just bought a 36 Dodge Business coupe myself! This car was restored to race by an uncle in 1969. It has sat awhile so I am going to do some restoration etc. If you are interested in exchanging info etc, give me a shout, CHeers, Rick Superior, Colorado
