I did remove it. It is not functioning but now the door lock works manually. I'm trying to find a replacement for the actuator.

Trust me when I tell you it did not work. I took it to a locksmith that worked on it for half an hour. It would not open until I disconnected the actuator.

The power actuator locked in the up position and wouldn't let me open the door. I got the door panel off and disconnected the actuator.

I found one bad one and one good one on eBay. Problem solved. Thanks.

I'm looking for a drivers side power door lock actuator for a '91. I don't know if they are the same on the 89 but they should be close.

1991 TC. The power door lock actuator on the drivers door failed and the door could not be opened. I finally got the door panel off (with the door closed) and got the actuator disconnected. I need to know if anyone has a replacement or knows of a substitute part that will work. dave@twodown.com

Thanks for the suggestion but I am trying to keep it all original. Still hoping someone knows where to find the CD. It was used on LeBaron's and some Dodges as well. There has to be some out there.
