I might have one. Can you post a photo or two of the one you need ? Or send them to me directly at rego@hughes.net

Does it have the horn mounting bracket ?
-
Yes, why do you ask ? I purchased them from Dodge City Vintage.
-
Thank you for posting those photos Knobless. Your stands look to be a little different than the ones I got from Dodge City Vintage. See photo of my passenger side stand. I think your photo is also of the passenger side. It appears that your horn brackets hang off the top of the stand and mine have bolt holes on the side for mounting a bracket.

Does anyone here have the brackets that mount the dual horns to the headlight stands. I have the stands with bolt holes for the horn brackets but don't know what the hardware looks like that mounts the horn to the stand. Does anyone here have a set available or at least some close up photos so I could maybe make my own.

Here's some on the bay that are like the ones on my 33 Plym. https://www.ebay.com/itm/1930s-PLYMOUTH-SIDE-FENDER-WHEEL-COVERS-Continental-Kit-Spare-Tire-ACCESSORY/302589485687?hash=item4673bd2277:g:fhQAAOSw42dZAsn1&vxp=mtr

Well Golllllleee. I would think this car, even though it has extra doors, would bring more than 2K. My 2017 collectors guide says maybe around 4 K if it's in between #3 and #4 condition.
-
The car is not a hardtop. It's a 4 door sedan. I think hardtops were available with only 2 doors.

1947 Chrysler shocks & springs
Reg Evans replied to 47windsor's topic in Chrysler Products - General
Air shocks will lift it back up. I once had a 40 Plymouth that sagged about 2" at the left rear. I installed 1 air chock on that side and pumped it back up to level. -
Is that a hole for the crank ? I'm going with Jacks first guess and Spinneyhills guess.
-
Nice ! That's just like one I bought in 1964 for $40. It was nearly perfect but had no engine. I sold it to a friends older brother and to my horror he chopped it up to make a trailer. :~(

I'm not sure what the body numbers mean but thought I'd post my 42 Dodge body number here too in case someone does. Mine is 1069TPO and is a business coupe.

Thanks Scott. I live in Grass Valley,CA. About an hour Northeast of Sacramento. Thanks Tod. I'll contact Country Traveler. My car has dual wipers, and a second tail light, and dual side mount spares so I figured I might as well have the dual trumpet horns too.
-
I picked this bracket up on eBay yesterday and need another for the left hand side. These enable you to install the horns to the front of the car. Thanks !

I tried that a couple of ways and it is still blurry but a little clearer. Does the 33 say 88psi or 83 ?
-
Okay Tod. or anyone else........ Any ideas where I can find a good '34-'41 ?
-
Carl, I run regular in all my cars including my 05 Ram 1500 w/a hemi. I will try advancing the timing a little. Spinneyhill, Can you send me that page listing the nominal compression values. I can't read it on this forum...too blurry. email to rego@hughes.net. Many Thanks !

I am running stock size tires 17 x 5.25. The stock engine has a carter 1 bbl downdraft....small bore. I wonder....will a later model intake manifold with the larger bore carb fit my 33 to go along with my cast iron dual exhaust headers ?

Thanks Spinneyhill, I only got as far a bone head math in High School so I'm not sure what the * and the 1.3 mean but 119 p.s.i. sounds real good. Can you express that formula so a cave man would understand ? Reg
