  1. Thanks Roy, we will do the same for you if we run into parts/literature for your 1924
  2. Thanks Walt !!!! My friend doesn't have any literature for this car. Its been in storage for over -50-60 years and hasn't run since then. It's in Super Shape. They called the model I believe the "Foredoor Roadster". A chummy style body with 4 doors instead of 2 doors. It also has a trunk built into the body with the spare on the back. Jim
  3. A good friend of mine just bought a 1918 Haynes model 39 (Six Cylinder). He is looking for a shop/parts manual for it. Original, or A reprinted copy would be fine. Are there any Haynes experts he could in touch with in order to get his Haynes back on the Road. He might be interested in any engine parts, headlights, any parts. Thanks in advance for any info. Jim

  7. Nat....It was reported a 07 White, not a Stanley. In 2 of his earlier video's getting the car up and going, he said the larger main tank fuel was Gasoline. Also gasoline leaking out from under the car when he was lighting it up in one of the video's. The smaller pilot light tank he said that it held fuel???
  8. Restored cars, recent race going around a dirt field. I think the name of the group is Ragtime Racers. I did go to Mr. Google after remembering the name "Ragtime". Lot of the same cars. Packard, National, Franklin speedsters. Thanks, Jim
  9. Does anyone remember the recent video link of the Raceabouts going around on the dirt style race track? Was it on the AACA link?? or other site. There was a Packard in the video. Thanks, Jim
  10. 33 had a little more slanted grille than 32. Also, the 33 Hood went all the way back (over the cowl) to the windshield rather than the 32 ending at the front of the firewall and cowl
  11. Edinmass, are you still traveling? Love reading your post. Lots of info and humor. We all need that these days. Can't wait to see your next post and adventures.
  12. The story of this car as told by my good friend and big time collector in Terre Haute, IN who had a great classic car collection in the former Packard dealership in Terre Haute. He knew of this car in his town for years. Tried to buy it for years. If I recall what he told me he finally was able to get the widow to sell him this special Packard. This was right before Hershey. A Packard collector friend of his would stop by and visit and see his collection on his way to Hershey every year. My friend was so excited about this Packard he was buying he ask his Packard friend visitor if he wanted to see this Packard still in the widow's garage, and made him promise not to tell anyone. The Packard man did promise he would not tell anyone of its location and they looked at this great car. After seeing the car they said goodbye and see you at Hershey. My friend went over with the money to buy the car the next day. Big Problem, his so called Packard friend circled back, told the widow that my friend in Terre Haute did not want the car after all and bought it out from under my friend and removed it the same day. When my friend who wanted this car for years confronted his ex friend on what he did the man just said he kept his word and "Didn't Tell Anyone" about the car. The Packard collector that did this is long gone from this planet. I know my late friend who wanted the Packard so bad from Terre Haute is in heaven.
  13. Nice A.J. Looks like a 1933 (smaller model) with hood vents instead of doors on the larger model & with the hood going all the way back to the windshield and the radiator somewhat slanted compared to the straight up and down 32 radiator. 1970's paint colors? Thanks!!!!
  14. Looks like it might be a special body by Murphy? .....Special Windshield, wrap-a-round cowl flowing into the doors, doors opening from the front, & disappearing top.
  15. also, the loose top material looks sloppy as the interior seams.
  16. Major Bowes CW by LeBaron is a 1937 model with the big ugly nose.....Grille

  18. Almost a 100 year old radiator. Honeycomb is Perfect. The lower tank has a couple leaks. Radiator shop going to solder them. As long as I have it out of the car, lower mounting strap is off for the lower tank repair. The question of the day......???? Any space age coating I can use to strengthen the metal outside of the tank to prevent and seal splits in the lower tank & that will hold up too hot water in the radiator when running Thanks in advance antique car guru's Jim
