  1. Hi all, My uncle owned a 1932 Dodge coupe that he SWEARS was on the cover of a magazine in the late '60s/early '70s. He says it's because even though it was rodded, it was done using all Mopar parts- It even had a 340 hemi in it. If anyone can help me find this mag, I'd really appreciate it. The car was candy apple red with white interior, and the car was the only car on the cover of the magazine. He believed it to be Rod and Custom, but I can't be sure. Please email me at jmbiii@yahoo.com if you can help. I also have pics of the car from when he owned it. Regards, CHEV66JB Webmaster 1959 Corvette Registry http://59registry.com http://59vette.cjb.net
  2. The only thing I ever heard that "should" be updated for today's gas is the valve seats in the heads. I'm not familiar with making changes to the carbuerator. Regards, Jim Brady III '59 #5366 1959 Corvette Registry, Webmaster http://59vette.cjb.net
  3. I'm 33, but 18 at heart- My dad has the same problem, so I guess I get it legally! Regards, Jim Brady III '59 #5366 1959 Corvette Registry, Webmaster http://59vette.cjb.net
  4. My father and I just returned from what was supposedly the first AACA event in Newark, DE, and it appeared to be a great success! The original show was to take place in the Newark Shopping Center parking lot, but cars ended up parking all the way down Main St. to be involved! Great turnout, great show, great time- Thanks for the enjoyable Saturday night! Regards, Jim Brady III '59 #5366 1959 Corvette Registry, Webmaster http://59vette.cjb.net
  5. Willy, Try to obtain the casting number off of the block- It will be on the driver's side back by the firewall, where the tranny bolts up to it. That # should help you determine what type of block it is. Regards, Jim Brady III '59 #5366 1959 Corvette Registry, Webmaster http://59vette.cjb.net
  6. To all of you '59 Corvette owners, be sure to check out the 1959 Corvette Registry at http://59vette.cjb.net I would love to add your car! Best Regards, Jim Brady III '59 #5366 1959 Corvette Registry http://59vette.cjb.net
