  1. Thank you for the information.
  2. Do you have plans for your engine?
  3. Do you have plans for this engine?
  4. I am starting a restoration project on my Grandfather's 1927 model 50 Chrysler. We have the engine apart but there are a couple of bad cracks in the cylinder head. Does anyone have any information on where to purchase parts for this model or does anyone have engine parts for sale? Right now I am looking for the cylinder head and a Remy Delco distributor complete with the housing. 515-571-5614 or anderlik@lvcta.com (please put model 50 in the subject heading). Thanks, Tim
  5. I have a 28? Chrysler coupe, the plaque on the dash is very rusty but I think the numbers read (from left to right) RRR 586 SSS I can not find this type of serial number in my book. This car is a 2 door, 4 cylinder coupe. Any ideas? Thanks TMLA anderlik@lvcta.com
  6. Harry-J, Are those numbers "hidden" on the plaque or are they in plain sight? I can't seem to find any. The plaque is rusty so I toke a rubbing and still nothing. However, if I look at it at an angle I can see the letter and numbers C 8 S or 5 I'm not sure on the last one. Any ideas on how to clean the plaque with out ruining it? Thanks TMLA
  7. I have this car narrowed down to a 1925-1928 Chrysler model 58, 50 or 52 (depending on the year) Does it look familiar to anyone? It is a 4 cylinder with the #129640A stamped in the right side. I could use any feedback. Thanks TMLA
  8. I bought an old Chrysler from my Grandma. It has been sitting in a shed for who knows how long (at least 35 yrs.) She thought it was a 1926, but from all of the pictures I can find it looks like a 1928. I have found a stamped number of the engine (4 cylinder) 129640A. Does anyone have any good ideas where to start looking for info on models and years. I need to know exactly what I have before I can start to restore this car. This is my first try and I think I may have bitten of more than I can chew. It is a coupe without a rumble seat, possibly a 3 window coupe? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks TMLA(maybe way in over his head)
