  1. What about the whole collection.....By the way; I have a 1928 Chrysler series "72" Royal Sedan I was doing a concours restoration on which needs to be finished. All of body work is done now the chassis needs to be redone....again let me know.
  2. By the way, this car is a movie star!...It was in 'Driving Miss Daisey"
  3. I am adjusting the price down again....Lincoln $16,000....Studebaker $10,000...Plymouth $24,000 Let me know.
  4. After I restored it I would not have thought twice about driving it to the west coast!
  5. A little more history on serial #49600. According to the records of the Ford Motor Co. , #49600 was assembled on Feb. 28, 1928 and shipped to the Edward Lowe Motors Co. in California on April 6 1928.
  6. Greg, it was done before I purchased it. However, I have a copy of the movie... so you can watch them put the dents in it. The movie is "The Kansas City Massacre"... if you Google you can see my car!
  7. Here are some more pics... note the freewheeling knob on the dash and the overdrive switch.
  8. Here is a pic of the extra motor I have for the Studebaker. Note the rebuilt water pump, rebuilt distributor, and the head has had the combustion chamber side milled and new freeze plugs.
  9. Here are some more pics of the Lincoln and some of the parts. This shows some of the damage Hollywood did; plus some of the parts.
  10. I had the engine rebuilt when restored it (1967 to 1969)... The engine shop in Birmingham, Alabama, had been rebuilding Model A engines since the cars were new!
  11. This Plymouth has a PB engine in it...Another note...the car was probably restored in the 60's, 70's and has nitrocellulose lacquer paint on it that is cracking. I have driven this car 4 or 5 thousand miles since I bought it, It is fast and has good acceleration. Also the brakes (which are hydraulic) need a full overhaul. Someone put an overdrive unit in the drive train of which I have never used.
  12. The maroon paint on the body radiator shell and louvers was done while it served in the movie and TV world in California.
  13. Yes the intake manifold is flipped...it was originally equiped with a updraft.
