Sorry but I don't have a steering box but I would like to know if you know whether the VIN is stamped in the body somewhere because the VIN plate for mine seems to be gone? Could you help me. Rich

I have a 1948 Lincoln Convertible which I believe is missing the VIN plate from the firewall. Can anyone tell me if the VIN is stamped somewhere else on the body panels or frame of the 1948 Lincoln Convertible? Troubled, Rich
