  1. My '31 Coupe is not getting spark and I haven't figured out why. I'm trying to get the car running as there is a car show in my hometown and my son wants to enter the car in the show. My cheap repro plastic wire terminal box melted last year. I don't know how it happened. I replaced the terminal box with a good original and put in a newly restored popout switch. All wires look visibly fine. I'm getting current from my popout to the distributor housing but no spark at the points. How do I test the points, condensor and coil? I suspect it's one of those items. I suppose I could replace these items but I would like to figure out what's going on here. Any advice from some of you experts would be appreciated. P.S. Can anyone recommend a book or video on how to check out the ignition system?
  2. I am looking for authentic John and Horace Dodge autographs. Can anyone help me? I am interested in purchasing them for my collection.
  3. Deanna, is this a 1914 model. There weren't very many made that year. I would be interested if it's for sale. I've been looking for an early Dodge.
  4. Did the 1915-16 Dodge Brothers car come with a tool kit? Was it available as an option or what? And what were the contents? Also, what were the original equipment tires? Is there anyone out there who has documentation on these sorts of things?
  5. I need to locate a company to tow a trailer with antique car aboard from New York City to Michigan. This is a Haulmark enclosed trailer that requires a Class 3 hitch and six-way electrical connector. Can't seem to locate any car hauler company that would tow such a rig. I's looking for a reputable company with insurance to deliver this car and trailer. Any referrals are appreciated.
  6. [color:"blue"] I would like to talk with any early Dodge experts to answer a few questions. Were the 1915-16 Dodge wheels originally painted dark blue? Is there anything characteristically unusual about the way a 1916 model drives? What is a maximum cruising speed of the early cars and how good are the brakes? I'm not sure what to expect. I plan to look at a 1916 model and thought I might good a few good pointers of what to look for from any experts. Any input is appreciated. [color:"blue"]
