  1. Not sure if Sandy can help, but I know he has gasket sets for 1928 Auburns and the headgasket you need. Worth contacting him at least. Here's his website and info; https://www.olsonsgaskets.com/products/?application=automotive&make=auburn&cylinder=6&model=85&page=1
  2. This is the trunk back lid and doesn't fit my car, and I need to downsize. I have two and this is by far the best. Hinges and handle are long gone. Fairly solid, but as you an see in the pictures the lower lip needs help. Not shipping but I welcome pickup, will to deliver to the Buick National in Strongsville or reasonable fee for local delivery. Located in Portage County, Ohio. I'm asking $30 but like the rest of my parts I'm accepting offers.

  5. I'm looking to downsize. Offered here is a non wheel-well front left fender that came off of a car I parted out years ago. Little rough but at least there aren't any surprises. I'm located in Portage County Ohio and not shipping it. However I can deliver to the Buick Nationals in Strongsville, Oh or locally. Asking $125.
  6. I'm looking to downsize. Offered here is a pair of fenders that I bought for my car years ago and no longer need. Not pristine but with a little work would probably be pretty good. I'm located in Portage County Ohio and not shipping them. However I can deliver to the Buick Nationals in Strongsville, Ohio or locally. Asking $200 for the pair or $125 each.
  7. I'm looking to downsize. Offered here is a pair of non-wheel well fenders that I bought for my car years ago and no longer need. There is some bondo in them but it doesn't seem like they have a lot. Not pristine but with a little work would probably be pretty good. I'm located in Portage County Ohio and not shipping them. However I can deliver to the Buick Nationals in Strongsville, Ohio or locally. Asking $175 for one or $300 for the pair.
  8. Here is the car from Bonhams; https://cars.bonhams.com/auction/29261/lot/62/1937-buick-series-66c-century-convertible-engine-no-316910/
  9. Here is the Ebay link for the car; https://www.ebay.com/itm/395271565134?itmmeta=01HS3ST502DJ0T5AVDGT1Q89JV&hash=item5c08056f4e:g:HyEAAOSwNztl9ITR
  10. This is a used remote control drivers side remote mirror. It was taken off my father's 1973 Fury sometime in the 70's and been in the box ever since. The part number is 2935 217. My understanding is this fits 1966 through 1974 but please make sure it's correct for your car as I'm just going by sellers on Ebay. In my opinion it is a very good driver quality mirror. The cables seem to move the mirror alright. I haven't tried cleaning it up but it does have a few pits and scuffing, but it's hard to show in pictures. I'm adding pictures and if anyone wants better or more pictures I'll try. I'm asking $40 plus shipping.
  11. Wishing Terry a speedy recovery!
  12. The same poster has a post in the general Discussion Forum where he is trying to establish a price and is looking for input. His post says ; Hello! I'm looking to establish a good sales price for a restored 1938 Buick Ambulance.
  13. Mine is the green 37 Buick, green and white 54 Buick or 32 Auburn.
  14. Yes, even after Bob sold his Packard he still came down and sat with us The Packards I can think of that would come down were also Ed's red 1953 (sold), Harry Davis's 1953 yellow convertible (his son brings it on occasion) Bud's hearse, Tom's 55 (sold) Mike's 1941 which he sold years ago. There were a few others that occasionally made. Mine seem to somewhat rotate going down but were generally close to Bob's car. Stop in and say Hi sometime lately we've been parking in front of the church so we get some shade. Carl
  15. Bob was a lifelong Packard enthusiast and drove his 1954 Patrician a lot of miles for a lot of years. His byline was seen in many Packard publications. He was also a Packard literature collector and vendor. Living in Akron he could usually be found Monday nights at the Don Sitt's Cuyahoga Falls Cruise in. Here is the obituary of my friend; https://www.beaconjournal.com/obituaries/pwoo0641036
  16. For that price I believe it deserves better, but then I might be somewhat biased.
  17. Amazing the steering wheel is as nice as it appears.
  18. My condolences to you and your family.
  19. Hello Claudia, Sorry to hear that scammers have already gotten you. I'm surprised nobody has given you Dave Tacheny's info yet. "He Does Not" do business through the computer but he specializes in pre-war Buicks and especially 1937 and 1938 Buicks. I've known of him to ship parts overseas and he is fair. Dave Tacheny is in Champlin, MN. He is old school:- no email. The best way to contact him is to call him between 4 and 7 pm Central at 763-427 3460. You can also write him a letter. His address is 11949 Oregon Ave N., Champlin, MN 55316. Good luck. Carl
  20. I don't know if this makes sense but here goes. Length about 46 inches Diameter is by my calculations 5/8's of an inch but the sending unit is somewhat squared off Thread appears to be 18 per inch NF? Carl
  21. Newer lower radiator replacement hoses are of a thinner material and can collapse. Buy a generic radiator hose spring and put it in the lower hose.
  22. Doubt it is taught anymore, but not really a big deal, even though I still use them. Around here seems like half the population don't care if you use them or not as they can't even use modern turn signals.
  23. Separate the rim only as much as necessary. You don't want to bend/ kink the rim.
