I recently acquired, at auction, a scarp book filled with photos and news clipping regarding the Maxwell car - the "Good" Maxwell and Daredevil (Harold) Lockwood - according to the information in the book - Mr Lockwood handcuffed himself to the stering wheel of the Maxwell in North Carolina and then spent 100 hours in a non-stop endurance run - he left,as far as I can tell, from in front of the city hall in Charolotte, North Carolina - however, I have no idea what dates we are looking at - a review of the Chrysler site makes me think that it might be sometime around 1910? any help in gettng additional information would be greatly appreicated!
