  1. Looking for a pair of straight eye brows for 1964 wildcat. Appreciate any help in location/ purchase. Also question : The pair I had fit terrible. Is this the norm or did I just have a bad set.
  2. On either front fennder is a pot metal/ chromed eyebrow, there are two speed studs for speed nut attachment. there are also two additional holes for attachment along the inside edge. Does anyone know the attacment hardware used here. sheetmetal pan head/hexhead screw or bolt. Thanks for any help on this one.
  3. Thanks my e-mail adress : ellen659@comcast.net / please leave any info / price on roof pillar emblems. Thanks.
  4. Intrested in the two wildcat emblems on roof pillar. What type condition are they in , thanks.
  5. Anyone know where to get trunk letters for trunk lid { 64 wildcat} ?. Thanks.
  6. Anyone have a set NOS perferred, or very good condition. Also can they be purchased anywhere as replacement?. Thanks for any info.
  7. Jusy spoke with them day before yesterday. Sometimes it takes a day or two for them to return the call.
  8. I have not been able to find the gasket either it looks like more oval than than round, any help on antenna/ gasket appreciated.
  9. looking to purchase an antenna / power - 1964 wildcat also could use the rubber grommet between fender hole & antenna base, thanks
  10. I seem to rember that they were held in place by a speed nut. However they are held, they were easy to remove . these letters along with the front hood are avail NOS. I would really consider new vs. re use. trunk = wildcat hood = Buick
  11. As pictured in 1964 body manual these are actually factory installed. Single exhaust received one on pass side inner fender at base of inner fender Dual exhaust received both sides. They are heat sheilds due to high temps just ahead of resonators. they were to assist front brakes in keeping temps down, factory records indicate this model as with others experienced high levels/ brake fade. The manual shows these sheilds as being held in place by two/three bolts. these sheilds are groved and run straight down from the inner fender toward the road. I got this info from a gent who's dad worked on the line at flint and purchased a cat new in 64. He has since passed, but his son owns the cat. silver / blk vinyl top, interior 425 dual quad. {super cat ] thanks to all who responded.
  12. These are extensions, actually welded to the bottom of the inner fender. they are about 6-8" wide x about 6" in hieght they are located lower than the bolt on sheilds you mentioned. They actuually appear to be meant to block the exhaust where the engine pipes start toward the rear of the car.I do also have the ones you's mentioned on bothsides heldin place by two bolts- correct, any ideas, thanks.
  13. Help needed on this one: i964 wildcat 425 factory orig dual exhaust. In the wheel well { front} is there suppose to be what appears to be a deflector/heat sheild. it looks like an extension welded onto the inner fender. I've got this sheild on both pass/ drivers side. any help would be appreciated.
  14. I had a set of 64 wildcat / rally wheels completly restored by ralley wheel in California. I believe you can find them on the net if you can't let me know : will supply. The guy did a great job and painted the centers the orig med/med dk grey. I remember the cost as very reasonable. I would not reccomend unless very satisfied - top job.
  15. I have three 64 wildcats, two have the waffer type center cap, however the third has a chrome cap with a black base madallion & silver wildcat head embossed. In magazine ads/ 1964 as well as the 1964 buick line book up avail from dealerships same year this second mentioned center cap is shown on all the wildcats. Here's the question - which is the correct center cap.
