  6. POLY wide block, saw tooth,etc..MOPAR MUSCLE mag did the article on rebuild stroker, I lost #1 but I noticed in #2 EDELBROCK VALVE COVERS on the POLY 318. Question is??. Are aftermarket POLY valve covers rarer than RHS or what??? How come a "Junk Yard POLY" gets rebuilt and manages to be wearing finned covers like these...WHO ELSE MAKES THEM, are they like the WEIAND Alum(#7503)and still on shelves,I wouldn't know,Australia did not get much MOPAR extras if any.SO, WHO'S A CLEVER BUGGER THEN and knows a little bit about them??????? 7. Thanks,I am bidding but have given up as this is too expensive, reserve was $50 and I took it up to over $120 but that's getting ridiculous. A month ago there was a set, complete and bid was $30, I sat and waited it out,the seller withdrew from sale just before close advising NO LONGER FOR SALE,so dipped out again. The ebay item up now requests in "US only(etc)" and I have found that when ebayers are approached to send overseas they usually refuse and crack up that I have bid anyway, even had one cancel my bid.HARD sometimes but keep on trying.Look thanks for the assist anyway. It will happen but not right now!
  8. CAN YOU HELP?situation is 318poly/727A tranny. Setting these into 1937 dodge sloper(D6C) Purchased a 64 valiant 3 speed push button auto. System was set up on tranny as column shift,as aussie bodies are RHD the column has a cable shift box on LH fire wall, which then drives the cables to the transmission, seems double the work, anyway how to mend. Does the push button system allow the direct connection between transmission cables(ie park and other gears)and push button operaor mechanism.I hope so,then maybe I can disassemble my weird transfer cable box and set it up directly to the button mechansim. CAN anyone confirm how 727A cable drive works attatched to a push button system as described above. If you have such experience, can you advise accordingly. Photo of my car attached
  9. Got myself a interior headache, need photo of 37 Dodge interior patterns, ie for upholstery reasons.Living in Brisbane Australia their are a shortage of restored D5s about to "compare/copy". The vehicle is a two door sedan but stamped (either D5C or D6C), split fold front seats(wooden sub frames, metal backed) which I've restored. The back seat(being Aussie bodied),folds down on hinged mechanisms attached to a wooden frame (also restored). Now what do we cover it in. Leather or leatherlook, interior colour options, pattern shapes, buttons, hoodlining. I believe the doors have some patterns of tapered stripes. So if your a owner of a original, and you want to help restore this Dodge D5 can you help? I'd love some help on our unique Aussie Dodge, because the only scrap of upholstery is as big as a slice of bread, it has 3 sewn pleats 2 inches wide then a 4 inch pleat attached to the wooden framed seats.I am not sure if the US coupes followed the same trim designs. hyperlion@hotmail.com
