  1. Quick question! How do you get the window cranks off? I've heard that the "universal" pullers they have out there don't work very well on older cars. Thanks!
  2. Ah, cool, thanks... I was wondering because I've needed a bunch of door parts for a 64 LeSabre 4dr hard top, but have had bad luck looking all over the northwest. Then, just the other day, I was grabbing some parts for my '88 Century at my local (Missoula, MT) cheapo "late model" junkyard and I just so happened to notice a recently-arrived almost complete '64 Wildcat. Talk about luck! And right after I parked my car for the winter... grumble grumble...
  3. Hey, I've got a quick question-- for a '64 LeSabre/Wildcat 4dr hardtop are the ventilator window frames interchangable from one side to the other? So in other words, can I take a frame from a right door and put it in a left one? I'm assuming probably not, but you never know with GM.
  4. Hey, nice to hear she's going. I have a 64 LeSabre with the 310 that started out as a project, but sort of turned into a daily driver-- it's by far the most reliable car I've ever owned! The 64 300ci engine, for some reason, was a unique aluminum design. I'm not sure about the chemistry of it, but because your heads are made out of aluminum, you don't have to worry about using lead additive.
