  1. @ willsboattail: attaching an image here: first copy the address of the photo (cursor on the photo which is on th i-net; right click ; choose properties; copy the address) Than reply to the post; click on "image" (find it under "Instant UBB Code") and paste the address in the bar and click "OK":
  2. <div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body"> an overlooked model from the '74-'76 period, which most people don't appreciate </div></div> I second that, Steve.... the 74-76 were exactly what Buick promised: "A luxury car of a most personal nature" ('75)and "A blending of excitement and elegance, performance and romance" ('76) Drove quite a few (older)Rivieras lately... and yes there are model years which are faster, have better "looks".... but no modelyear could compare with the 75-76 Rivieras in luxury:
  3. Thanks Ed... will sent you an e-mail
  4. Still haven't received the sept/october 2006 issue yet... is there a copy available? Thanks
  5. Photos of last year: http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v399/Riv71/Rivierameet06/?
  6. Hopefully we will gather more than the 40+ Rivieras in 2006:
  7. <div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body"> Buick Estate Wagon (LeSabre) 3-seat - $4589 (this was a base model price) </div></div> Have the original window sticker of my '72 Estate Wagon (price $4728,40)
  8. July 16-20, 2008 Sounds like a good date to organise a Buick meeting here in Europe....
  9. Still I'm very curious whether Mitch still sells a set for (only) $150. On the other hand: always read stories about the very good quality of his repros. I was very lucky to find a NOS set of the "Buick Motor Division" caps for the Estate Wagon lately, otherwise I sure would have bought a set from Mitch. I have a beautiful and complete set of Riviera 66-70 center caps for sale here in The Netherlands... but there aren't much 2nd generation owners here that need a set so far
  10. Last october my 3rd Buick arrived from the USA: a 72 Estate Wagon...it's getting a bit crowdy in the street where I live..:
  11. Jayson, looking at the properties line of the photo in your latest reply: http: //thumb5.webshots.net/t/38/39/6/61/67/323766167ZodDKe_th.jpg "thumb5" and "_th" are referring to a thumbnail photo... I just searched your webshot page and it seems to me that you can only link photos from there in a thumbnail size: <div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body">Can I post another Webshots member's public photo? What about a gallery photo? Yes! You can post a thumbnail of any public photo or gallery photo available on Webshots. </div></div> The full size photos you have there are also too large to fit on a screen; you'll have to re-size them (width of 600-650 will be the best size) to fit on a screen What I was able to do was to save one of your photos on a "webshot"-like hosting site ("photobucket" or in this case "imageshack")where I put most of my photos; from there it is easy to link a (resized "full size") photo here: Wish I could help you more ...but I'm not a guru at these things
  12. I took one of your CarDomain photos; -right click on photo... copy the properties line -reply button on your thread...on that page you'll find under "Instant UBB codes" the hyperlink "images" click it and paste the copied line in the pop up that should do the trick
  13. This is the Wagon.... it already arrived (still have to change the signature). Was looking for quite some years to find a 71-76 Buick Estate with roofrack and woodgrain option with the Champagne color....finally found one on the v8buick board It still needs some TLC: bench seat needs new vinyl (luckily the dash survived the CA sun!!)power steering housing is leaking bit (as the tranny) Right now there 's a really nice 73 Wagon on eBay: eBay auction I don't have any parking space left here.....
  14. I always thought the mats in 73 or 74 changed....tri-shield logo in white and no coloration at all.
  15. Carl, just call Ed or Sherry; renewed my membership that way yesterday. 515-957-0ROA (0762)
  16. Thanks for the reply Kris... didn't checked CARS for a while.... strange that they are describing them as courtesy lenses...the price looks more or less fair to me.... I see original lenses sold on eBay for the double of that price. Maybe order a few pairs... there are quite a few boattail owners here in The Netherlands looking for a pair Did somebody here ordered them? Did they fit well? Looked like original?
  17. In order to install a new window roller and cleaning the window motor of the 1/4 windows I have to take of the (brittle) lenses. I'm sure they won't survive. I have heard of repros were made, but the only lead I had was an email address, but I never had any reply. Is/are there other sources?
  18. Beautiful......again... Ranch Green (isn't it?)on those 7-ties Buicks I really like. My 73 Riviera will get a repaint in that same green color. Only thing I dislike on the 74 BC models are the separate head lights...
  19. It has been a long time since I saw a (74-75) Buick with that ACRS option for sale.....would love to buy such a car with a "milestone in carhistory"- option....but unfortunately got too many projects right now...
  20. WTB: tan steering wheel (2 or 3 spoke) for a 72 Wagon.(see attachement) No cracks Thanks
  21. Looking for a 2 spoke or 3 spoke tan steering wheel for an Estate Wagon (no cracks)See attachement Thanks
  22. Welcome here... maybe you can post the VIN and body tag here....
