  1. I found a build sheet under the rear seat in both of the 75 Rivieras I have/had. S/R (Sports/Ralley)option was also available for 197<span style="font-weight: bold">5</span> model year Apollo and Skylark models, and an US$256,- S/R package for the 1975 Regal 2 drs coupe. For model year 197<span style="font-weight: bold">6</span> the price of the S/R package for the Regal 2 drs coupe was US$ 379,- '76 Riviera S/R:

  3. Welcome!! 74-76 Rivieras; the forgotten generation. You'll have to drive one first before judging...

  5. Try to contact "1967 Big Buick" (Jarrod Jacobs) on the V8buick board He has or knows 2 of those era Rivs (77/78)
  6. http://nl.youtube.com/watch?v=fKTAVWYfSnE (not due to the replacement actuator though...)
  7. That is less than 1200 euros... Those are sold here for at least 8500 euros ($11.000)(or asking price a 1.000 more)if the condition really is what the seller describes. Add $2.500 for shipping.... well you can do the math http://autotelegraaf.nl/autokopen/toon/?id=11581874;referer=speurders http://www.autozoeker.nl/users/janitas/templates/spec_1.php?Id=27932
  8. Unfortunately we had some competition with 2 other major (US car)meetings within 60 mls., so quite some Rivieras didn't show today. Still a few more members from Europe will join R.O.A. soon. Click photo for more:
  9. before the photo is no longer available from eBay:
  10. "Riviera by Buick" meeting in The Netherlands First photos.
  11. Besides...ever noticed that Buick people are different (in a very positive way and that it is a world wide thing)?? Obvious here in Europe...
  12. I wrote a few emails to sellers on that site; trying to finally get my hands on a few parts... Like for my 75 Riviera, it is very hard to get parts for a clamshell wagon these days.... sometimes I wish I had choosen a first or second generation Riv
  13. Here you will find some more "victims": http://www.derbygear.com/catAds.asp?cat_id=21&offset=0
  14. That "plane Jane"-Buick Estate Wagon is from a v8buick.com board member ("kenny") I do not have more photos (yet) to share on the i-net (besides the car domain ones)... there certainly will be a homepage in the future, but first I have to spent more time on the Rivieras and (organizing)the Riviera meeting (in less than 2 weeks from now). Probably the Wagon will have it's own part on that meeting: it will tow the 73 Riviera. The wife will take the 75 Riviera: I removed quite a few stickers from the Wagon and added a few which, IMHO, more or less belonged to the car : At least with the last few replies we're back on track with "Electras" ... in fact the Estate Wagons shared the same trim with the Electra (4 port holes etc)

He said ALL options, but as we know, it lacks some... some that I noticed it lacks are- cornering lights, light monitors, trip odometer, fingertip wiper control, speed alert and road wheels. Auction ended early. I hate it when that happens. If you note the seats, even on this wagon, they seem to be a bit more "plain" ..... I love the upgraded interior on the Estate Wagons. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Buick-LOA...sspagenameZWDVW </div></div> Was lucky to find my Wagon had the upgraded interior: eBay: My Wagon: My Wagon came with (after market (?)) sun shades (correct name?)which I had never seen before: aluminium roster. Except for the windshield and tailgate window, every window has one. The one on the drivers side (standing on the 3rd seat in photo)lacks a corner (adjusting mirror??, better view in mirror ??? ): It looks like they were specialy made for clamshell wagons: the shades follow the rear glass perfectly: And what I really like is the luggage cover on top:

  17. Dan, I had fillers from Replica Plastics (for the 75 Riviera) before I was lucky to find originals; had to alter them a bit (drill other holes and cut a bit off) before they fitted: still quite satisfied: http://www.replica-plastics.com/EditParts.aspx?Make=Buick

  20. Most desirable I think in the future will be the GNX... there's one for sale in Belgium.... For only $23.000 I don't think it is one of the 500+ produced GNX's : So probably scam Shot at 2007-07-27My 75 Riviera GS(the most ignored era of all Rivieras) for me has the most personal value; I drove quite some US made cars (60/70/80's), but none of them came close to the luxury of that Riv. The 455 was downgraded that year to just over 200HP... I still concidder it as enough for this Boat. The '75 Riviera was the less produced RWD modelyear (just over 17.000...only 3.000 had the GS package)so that makes at least a rare one. Nonetheless it will never be a modelyear for collectors. If I ever have to choose of letting go 2 out of the 3 Buicks: the 72 Estate Wagon and the 73 Riviera will have to go... Luckily I'm not in that position right now
  21. At least '65 - '72 for Chevrolet (Pontiac a year later?)
  22. One of the issues here during the first gathering of the organising committee will be the streaming video.... any input is very welcome Thanks
  23. should have known... didn't you mention that Wagon in the(your) longest thread here on the BCA-board?
  24. Looking forward to see some photos... Always interested in NOS Buick items...specially right now for the Wagon
