  1. Had a geat time at my first AACA event, and achieved my first place junior..actually tied my buddies car! A very well organized event except for the trailer parking!!Had to drive my fresh frame off restored car through a wheat field!!anyway..loking foward to Hershey. ALbert
  2. Peter...no hotel parking for me, except for my truck!. Ipaid to park at the show and thats where my trailer will be. I too dislike when guys park at the hotel. I'll come back from the show to clean up and there are trailers and trucks everywhere and np parking for me...it Sucks. My freind Bill and I are trailering in probably about 2-3 PM on Fri...dropping off the trailers and then getting some dinner. Se everyone on Sat. ALbert
  3. I did pay the fee for parking..what time do you think the gates are open. I will leave my house according to when they open so I can drop the car off and then go to the hotel. ALbert
  4. Another spring meet question..this being my first AACA meet I am not familiar with the time table for this show. I will be trailering down on Fri. My question is when do they open the gates for trailer parking?...Fri afternoon or Sat morning. Just want to plan ahead. ZIf I need topark at the hotel Iwill get there early to get a good spot..If I can park at the show on Fri. I would prefer that. Thanks ALbert
  5. NO, no trophies..not into that kind of display and this car has only been to one show so far..guess I'll just bring my chair and enjoy the sights...pray for good weather. ALbert
  6. I will be attending my first ever AACA meet! I'll be in class 36B?..muscle car class with my 70 SS-454. Any tips on what to bring and what not to bring? Are there any registration papers to bring or do we recieve them at the gate? Have my extinguisher and my chair and hope to achieve my Jr. at the meet. ALbert

    New guy info

Hey everyone, new to AACA and getting ready for the 2004 show season. I have read that a fire extinguisher is a requirement for AACA competition and thats a good thing! I have read the guidelines and am still not sure of what type and size to buy. Can someone send me a link or picture with laymans terms on what I need to have? I'm already registered for the Hagerstown meet and my car is almost done so now I am down to the details. Thanks. ALbert
