  1. 1. Bob Zetnick: Could you please resubmit the cross sectional photo of your weather stripping you provided earlier? The detail is blurry. Tks 2. Has any DA owner tried the weather stripping mentioned earlier in this thread supplied by Mopar Direct with the following cross section?
  2. To add to the previous data, here are a few pics of the near petrified door seal on my 1930 DA Victoria to hopefully help someone find an appropriate replacement seal:
  3. Jesse: Could you provide another picture of your DA oil filter canister--one more from the side so I can see the top better. Here is an image of the filter canister on my 1930 DA Victoria for comparison. It looks related to yours. Currently, my oil filter canister is not in the oil flow circuit so I can't give anyone a definition of the filter contained within. Howard
  4. Thanks for the link! When I did a search on our forum for "wireless" no link was found that dealt with wireless turn signals.
  5. I am interested in finding out if anyone has purchased and installed a set of wireless turn signals? If so, I would like to hear of your experience and your opinion of them. A company called Smart Signals has them for around $300 so they seem a little pricey. Thanks.
  6. From the album: Dodge

  7. I had a very similar problem when I tried to remove my 1930 exterior locking door handle. In my case I finally discovered that the ridge at the end of the handle shaft was catching on a interior square hole that was not perfectly square. After a lot of manipulation I was finally able to free my handle. I then used a small triangular file to make my problem square hole square. Now my handle is removable. Good Luck!
  8. To reduce the guess work, here is what Google Translate says: "Hello Hello Ken_ Dodge friends in faraway Australia. Thank you for the wonderful pictures of the National Rally I'm impressed by all the beautiful cars. Cordial greetings from Germany"
  9. Thank you Ken for taking the time to post your pictures. What a great collection! I wish I could have been there too.
  10. The frosting for the centennial meet came in mail during the past week: A DVD covering the events and sites visited; plus the 1' x 3' poster picture of all the cars at Meadowbrook. The effort extended by all the meet organizers was well above the call of duty. Thank you, Thank you one and all for an outstanding, memorable meet!
  11. The Chrysler 1924-1990 may be out of print but I just bought a used one off Amazon for 8-bucks, including shipping. (Thanks, Keiser31 for the tip!)
  12. For an additional note, after replacing the oil pump in my '23 last month, I primed the pump from the check valve area. I found the trick to extract the little steel ball is to use a small magnet.
  13. I got mine off by using another DB owner's idea: Drill a 2-inch hole into a small square piece of 1/2" to 3/4" solid wood. Because the gauge has a slightly larger diameter at the bottom than at the top, you can safely push the piece of wood down on the gauge until tight and then unscrew it employing the friction of the wood circle cutout on the gauge. Good luck.
