  1. Lowered the price to $1000. Engine is bad but asking price is way less than the sum of the parts. Nice car. Check out the pics. I do have the car advertised locally so hurry if you want it! I can be contacted at markemc@juno.com This is an original ASC (Automobile Specialty Company) modified car that sold for $23K in 1987. I purchased the car from a guy who had purchased it new for his wife. The car is white with the maroon leather interior, 167K, 4 Firestone Firehawks. 2 year old battery. New alternator and starter with less than 10 miles on them. Body is perfect with zero rust. Never wrecked. Car has always been garaged and was Zeibarted every year up until 2 years ago when the original owner sold it to me. The original owner had a new engine put in 1997. (ID on block indicates date) I drove the car daily until it developed a fairly loud engine knock a day after having the starter installed by the local garage a few months back (on this model the exhaust manifold has to be removed to access it) I don’t know what caused it but at this point I’m not going to mess with it. The tranny slipped from the day I bought it (worse in cold weather) so it needs rebuilt. I’m asking $1800 for it. An offer of $1000 alone was made for the 2 front seats by a street rodder but I’m not going to part it out. The car will have to be towed. Would be willing to trade. I have the original window decal that lists the following Options: ABS (JE5) Level III suspension package (F3). Aluminum 15" styled wheels. ETR AM/FM Bose Stereo Cassette Radio. Power Rear mounted antenna. Six Speaker Bose dimensional sound system (UW4). Electronic Comfort control A/C (C65). Cruise Control (K34). Dual Electric outside mirrors with driver side defog (DK2). Automatic Power rear view mirror (adjustable settings to detect light from behind) Tilt Steering Column (N33). Rear window defogger (C49). Cornering Lights. Passenger Side lighted visor/vanity mirror (D64). Power door locks. Power Windows. Interior Illumination package. Pulse wiper system and washer (CD4). Custom Leather wrapped steering wheel (N31). Power Trunk lid release (A90). Sail panel reading lamps (C89). Reminder package (when any fluid or gas is low) (Y67). Front and Rear carpeted floor mats. Rear window defogger (C49) Front leather bucket seats with "Oldsmobile" monogramming stitched into them, six way power adjusters, power recline, power adjusting side bolsters, power lumbar, power articulating headrests fore and aft (controls for the seats are located on the driver's door armrest, the sides of the seats and on the console) Leather rear seats with "Oldsmobile" monogramming stitched into them, headrests and fold down center armrest. Gage cluster package with 120 MPH speedometer. Tach, Voltmeter, fuel, oil pressure and temperature gages. Full front console with floor shift storage. Real wood veneer trim plates, instrument panel and console. Special deluxe trunk trim (rubber mat that covers the entire floor). Accessory Tool/Road emergency kit (tools, tire pressure gage etc..). Dual tuned exhaust. Foglamps (I STILL HAVE THE ORIGINAL SNAP ON PLASTIC COVERS WITH THE OLDSMOBILE LOGO) Upper Side Moldings. All Touring Sedan badges (interior and exterior). Wide Ribbed lower body side moldings. Combination Power moonroof/sun roof.
  2. I'm contemplating selling my 87 Olds ASC Touring Sedan. Before doing so I'd really like to know if anyone can assist me in locating production data on this model. VIN # 1G3CX513XH4345619 I have the original window decal that lists the following Options: ABS (JE5) Level III suspension package (F3). Aluminum 15" styled wheels. Dual tuned exhaust. Foglamps (I STILL HAVE THE ORIGINAL SNAP ON PLASTIC COVERS WITH THE OLDSMOBILE NAME) Upper Side Moldings. All Touring Sedan badges (interior and exterior). Wide Ribbed lower body side moldings. Combination Power moonroof/sun roof. ASC sticker on inside left door. The car is white with the maroon leather interior. Body is perfect with zero rust. Never wrecked. Car has always been garaged and was Zeibarted every year up until a year and a half ago when the original owner sold it to me. I drive the car daily and it has developed both a transmission slip and an engine clacking. With 167K miles on it I'm not suprised. What is suprising is the condition of the car itself. Everything works on this car and as you can see it is loaded. The original owner told me he paid over $23K for it in 1987 when he purchased it for his wife. Does anyone know how many of these were produced in 87? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks, Mark
