I have a 31-67 Buick for sale in SW Mich. This is an older high dollar restoration that shows very well and runs great, a very pleasant driving experience. Color is a deep plum (Boulevard Maroon) with black fenders and top.No disappointments with this car. $25,900. Additional pictures upon request. rdbierma@hotmail.com

Well it doesn't doesn't look like the webmaster sees it as a problem so it won't be changing.

What I'm talking about is having the date of original posting on the MAIN page next to the originater of the the post. Like: Just a Thought arbys Feb 11, 2010

Wouldn't it be nice to know when the original thread was posted? We can see when the latest reply was made but not the ORIGINAL post. Let's say someone has a desireable roadster for sale, someone sees the ad 2 years later and asks/posts where is it? It moves to the top and looks like a fresh posting for a roadster for sale---NOT. It may have been sold 23 months ago and is past history. What do you think?

Is there a color coding for for the wiring such as black w/ green band/stripe, black w/yellow, black w/ red? Also what wire size would be recommended for wire to the fuel electric pump?

I have a '31 Buick that developed a fuel pump problem last fall. I had the fuel pump rebuilt and was told by a lot of old car guys that I should also install an electric 6V pump. I'm looking for advise in installing the 6V pump. I figured to install it by the tank in series with the mechanical pump on the engine. I plan to install an on-off switch. Should I run the electric pump all the time or just when I need the boost?

You know where you are located, does anyone else?

I don't understand the point that you are trying to make. Please elaborate.

P.S. What you see on the trunk is original primer. The trunk was put in a tank to remove most of the paint and some rust was removed by electrolysis. What you see in the pictures is primer and oxidation.

1930's rectangular trunk measures 38"x12"x18 1/2" high. I purchased this to put on my speedster and used a different smaller one. Most of the paint is stripped away and new hinge and hardware is included. This would make a great addition for storage on your antique car. This trunk was sold as an aftermarket item in the 30's and 40's. I have over $65 in this trunk but will entertain reasonable offers. For pickup in Richland Mi. email me for pictures. rdbierma@hotmail.com<!-- google_ad_section_end -->
