  1. I received my build sheet for my cabriolet TEN days after mailing the request. The car was assembled 11/7/40 and shipped 11/11/40 to "Somerville". Any idea where this is? MapQuest lists TEN of them in the U.S. Was this a distribution site or a Dealership? Mike Lynch
  2. This car originally HAD a Columbia - The control cable is still mounted to the dash, the clutch valves are still in place , as is the speedometer inerchange. But, alas no rear axle (with the Columbia). Twenty years ago, I had a '36 Ford Coupe with one in it, and it was a GREAT highway car. NO PROBLEMS
  3. I am looking for the axle housibg (or a complete unit) for my '41 cabriolet. ANY IDEAS (..sane, of course)
  4. I am in the process of inheriting a 1941 Continental Cabriolet. Although the number on the frame rail at the engine was all but obliterated, through club members I was able to find the numbers stamped on the frame at the gas filler. There it was, after I lifted the gas door, plain as day!! No. ON FRAME : 112611 Body # ON TAG : 90 WHERE DO I WRITE FOR A BUILD SHEET AND HOW MUCH $$ DO I SEND? Thanks to Rolf for all of his help!!!
  5. I have a 1941 Continental Cabriolet. Recently the oil indicator (float) does not respond to show the level of oil in the engine. (YES, I am SURE there is oil in it!) What would cause this and is it repairable? Where do I get a new float, and how is it replaced? Any help appreciated
