Ben, the oiler drives with a shaft on the back side of the picture shown on the first thread here. Is does not have a pully. My recollection is that it drives from the cam shaft. The oiler has four "feet" or mounting spots on the side where it is driven from. No drip is visible. Ben I know you have lots of parts , hope you have one of these. Harold

<!-- google_ad_section_start -->We are still looking for a McCord Oiler to finish a project. We will pay 1000.00
finders fee that leads to the purchase of a correct oiler for this project. I have pictures of what is correct if you think you have what we need. The guys that run this site are absolutely great guys and do a great job. I think most everyone knows I am a serious auto collector and whatever the webmaster decided will be ok. I just appreciate so very much the fact that they give so much of their time to promote the hobby. Brassnutboyz

Have you tried the AACA Library. They have many manuals and can make you a xerox copy if available. Second and third choice would be the National Museum in Sparks Nevada and the Philadelpha Free Library in Philadelphia, Pa. Brassutboyz

We need a McCord Oiler, Class "R" to complete a restoration. The oiler has an aluminum case and drives from the side next to the engine. It has six feeds in a row in the rear and three in the front, it has mounting brackets that are cast into the case that bolts to the left side of the engine. We will be at Hershey and would be delighted if you would bring one by the Coker Tire Co tent in the Chocolate field for your pay. We will pay you price for a nice and correct Oiler. Thanks in advance Harold Coker , email hcoker7118@aol.com
I have pictures of what we need if you need to see them email me and I will forward them to you
