  1. I could see how this could happen. Best Buy told CBS the pricing was “clearly a mistake on the part of a few employees at a single store.” The company said they don’t normally sell cases of bottled water, so employees priced the water by multiplying the cost of one bottle by the number of bottles in each case. The electronics retailer says they’re “deeply sorry that we gave anyone even the momentary impression that we were trying to take advantage of the situation.” http://fox59.com/2017/08/31/best-buy-apologizes-after-charging-43-for-bottled-water-near-houston/
  2. Here is a new one in Lexington SC for 14,995 https://www.rvtrader.com/dealers/John's-RV-Sales-%26-Service-734360/listing/2018-Forest-River-R-Pod-RP-171-121950167 There is a dealer in Atlanta http://www.threewaycampers.com/ and one in Byron http://www.midstaterv.com/ And a respray with a sweep spear would be Awesome! Somehow this never posted last week. Or perhaps a Casita (with Sweep Spear Wrap) is in you future. Thing is they have no dealers and are made in Texas, Right now there is a 8 - 9 month wait if you order one, nut they are quality. http://casitatraveltrailers.com/ Dan
  3. One at Midstate RV http://www.midstaterv.com/default.asp?page=xInventoryDetail&id=3582170&p=3&make=forest river&vc=travel trailer&s=Year&d=D&fr=xAllInventory May want to watch this

Some other points to consider, it is new, local dealer for service (and it will need service), built on levelers. You should at least take the time to see one in person, you may be surprised. And a respray with a sweep spear would be Awesome!
  5. Lamar, I understand about the weight issues, but the shasta does not have a bed, you have to convert the dinette. The wet bath is also very small. Have you been in one yet? I am in no way trying to discourage you, and I have an idea of what you are going for. Have you considered a teardrop type. Thr R pod rp-171 weighs 2342, and has a bed. For an additional 300 lbs the rp-180 has a bigger dry bath. http://www.forestriverinc.com/product-details.aspx?LineID=173&ShowParent=1&ModelID=1945#Main Both the Shasta and R pods are made by Forrest River, the Airflyte is no longer made. Whatever you decide, I am rooting for you.
  6. Thanks so much for not forgetting to take us along again, I have been looking forward to it.
  7. http://www.foxnews.com/auto/2017/04/07/twin-1987-buick-grand-nationals-parked-for-years-uncovered-in-dirty-garage.html The story says it all. Mr Earl, was this you?
  8. Why not use a longer rubber filler tube extension?
  9. So my 56 has a tank of gas about 10 years old. I was treated with stabil but I am sure it has degraded.I want to drop the tank and clean it, then get the car running again. What is the best way to dispose of the old gas?
  10. I would rather have it and not need it then need it and not have it.
  11. I think more like a Rolls Kinardly, Rolls down one hill can hardly make it up the next one. Dan
  12. Mike, as you are aware, I had a tough time keeping my "56 running as well. If I remember correctly it took a couple of good carb cleanings to correct the issue.
