Hi guys, I just wanted to know if anyone knew any websites that would carry suspensions and shock absorbers for a 1949 buick super? I tried calling Kanter, but they only said I would have to mail my original shock absorbers and have them fixed. Also does anyone know if air shocks would work? Im thinking of just picking some up and customize a bracket? If anyone can help me that would be great. Thanks guys

Hi Art, Thanks for responding , is there anyway to lower the car without having to modify it so the bumpsteer wont occur? Please let me know if there are any alternatives. thanks, Kalen

Hi, Im trying to find a suspension for my 49 buick. I was looking at fatman fab, but they said something like stock steering arms must be heated and bent down to match spindle drop and the outer tie rod must remain in its original position to avoid bumpsteer. Is there an easier suspension out there? or does anyone know someone who has used this suspension?

Hi, did anyone use a custom suspension for a 1949 buick super before? Im trying to find one for mines, but im not sure what I should go for. I looked into fatmans fabrications but it says "stock steering arms on 37-56 buick must be heated and bent down to match spindle drop. Outer tie rod end must remain in it's original position to avoid bumpsteer." Is there another suspension company that makes a kit thats easier to install? or should i go with the fatmans? please let me know your opinion thanks
