  1. Good morning, Kristen. I know this is a long shot and this thread is rather old but I own a car that was sold at your family's dealership back in 1970. It was actually a dealer transfer (from a NJ dealer) and ended up repossessed and back at Gingrich Motor Company right before being sold to the Demler family, who I'm told you father is still friendly with. Anyway, I was wondering if you could inquire with your father as to whether he may have some old dealer swag collecting dust that he might want to sell? In particular a license plate frame, keychain or trunk emblem. Any help is appreciated and please stay safe. Brett
  2. Could a moderator please delete this thread as well?
  3. Maybe a moderator can merge this thread with this one?
  4. Here's some pictures that might help with a better assessment of value.
  5. I know I need to get some pictures up ASAP. Thank you for the condolences.
  6. Just found my post from 2012 that I couldn't locate.
  7. Bumping this up as my uncle has passed and my cousin wants to pass the Buick on to another enthusiast.
  8. Good morning folks, I'm a newbie here but not new to Buicks and not sure where to post this, so here goes. My late uncle, Bob Slater, owned this car for over 50 years. In the early 90's, it underwent a restoration. Some of you Massachusetts people may know of the light and dark brown sedan,as he frequented many car shows during the 90's and early 2000's. Bob passed in January after along period of poor health and my cousin has asked that I help her pass the car on to another enthusiast. My plan (over the next few weeks) is to take a bunch of photos and video in an effort get the best possible exposure for the car and would like some input in terms of value, market, etc..A quick look at eBay didn't reveal anything. Thank you in advance for any information.
  9. Off topic, I haven't got one email notification from this thread. I've gone into my settings and set up instant notification, too. There's nothing in my spam folder either. Any suggestions?
  10. That makes sense. I'm going to give him a call tomorrow and get more info. Thanks!
  11. John, Thanks for the info. I figured this was probably listed somewhere, as he's entered it in shows over the years. Is this roster available to view anywhere?
  12. David and everyone else, Thanks for the reply and the holiday well wishes. I seem to recall him saying it was a Series 90 but that was a while back and I could be wrong. I'll find out when he's back from visiting family up North. I'm off this week and once the weather cooperates, I'm going to stop by and snap a few pictures & get more info.
  13. Hey folks, This is my first post here, so please bear with me. I'm a moderator over on V8Buick and have been entrenched in the Tri Shield since I was old enough to drive. This past July, I traded in my 98 Regal LS with over 180K miles and bought a new Verano, which I love. Last September, I sold the 72 Stage 1 4 speed Gran Sport I had for over 15 years on eBay. It was going to need a complete restoration and I didn't have the time or the money, so I made a decision to list and I did well, so it was worth it. So, as you can see, I'm a Buick guy, through and through. I've taken a lot of heat from friends over the years but I've managed to come out okay. :-) Anyway, my uncle is in the early stages of trying to sell the 32 Sedan he's had for close to 50 years. Back in the early 90's, he had it painted and also had the complete interior redone. The entire time he's owned it, it's been garaged, which is the main reason an 80 year old car that's spent it's life in New England isn't rotted to the ground. I don't have much more info at the present time but I do plan on helping him out by taking a boatload of pictures and video and gathering up any documentation he has. I'm wondering what kind of market there is for this model? I'm not really well versed in these pre-war cars so any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance and I hope everyone has a safe happy holiday season.
