  1. I am replacing my shift cable on my Savoy. My question is: how do you disconnect it from the transmission. Three speed transmission any help would be great
  2. I have a '60 Plymouth a Savoy with a 318 in it, and I was wondering what the original engine color should be. It is currently blue but I dont think it is right. The car has been in my family since the mid 70's and is a great car to drive. Any help would be great.
  3. I have a '60 Plymouth Savoy, And I wopuld like to find out what color the engine was originally painted. I've seen Fury that were painted gold but I'm not sure that was original. It has a 318 and is a great car to drive. It looks great except for the engine, it has never had any major work done to it since its been in my family and needs cleaned up. Any help would be great

I'm sure its clogged there was a lot of rust in my tank. my tank has never been cleaned out as far as I know. I hope someone can help me.

  13. Does anybody know where I can get, or has a V.I.N. Chart that can tell me what year cars from the junk yard are. I have an incomplete '52 Dodge Wayfarrer and I need a grill and such. I know where one might be but I am un sure of the year?thanks!
  14. Hey all. I'm really liking this forum, it's a great way to talk to like minded people. I bought my Wayfarer before I was 16 in hopes of taking it to prom my senior year. It didn't happen though. I guess I did not realize how much money it would cost. So it sat for 12 years at my dads place until this last fall when I moved it in to my own garage. Now I can look at it and know I need to work on it. My own idea of hell, or is it heaven. No matter things are coming along. It will be done eventually. i want to resore it to as much as original as I can, but I might change the color. It was black but I really like the two tone dove gray. I'll figure that out later. thanks for the help Jon
  15. Hello agian. Thanks Jon for the information. However I think some of what you said is wrong as far as painting the engine... my engine has never been touched, after cleaning my oil fill pipe and draft tube they are that aluminum color. What do you think?
