  1. The windshield, front end and wheels look like Dodge.
  2. I sent all the Dodge spring data I had to the Dodge Bros web site. http://www.dodgebrothersclub.org/ All the details are posted there with a lot of other Dodge information. This is a good club to join if you have a 1914 - 1938 Dodge.
  3. Based on the wiring diagram it looks like Negative ground.
  4. I do not think a V8 was offered in a 50 Dodge.
  5. I do not think that has anything to do with the ratio. When you pull out the rear end the ratio is sometimes stamped on the ring gear. If not count the teeth on the ring gear and divide that by the teeth on the pinion and you will have the ratio. My guess is it is a 4.11.
  6. Pull the axles out and the rear end will pull out.
  7. Looks like mid 30's to early 40's MOPAR
  8. Looks like it is a hydraulic oil. Not for gears. This multi-functional, low viscosity fluid has been formulated specifically for tractors using a centralized system to lubricate the transmission differential wet brakes, power steering and hydraulic systems. Outstanding frictional properties provide chatter free operation of the wet brakes, prolonging the life of the oil seals, hydraulic hoses and other rubber parts while also protecting gears, pumps and other parts from high load wear. Recommended for equipment with common transmission, hydraulic, final drive and wet brakes pumps where intermixing may occur due to implement attached.
  9. Appears the original rumble seat cushions were lost. Looks like some bus seats were used.
  10. Yes. Remove the adjusting nut and the bearing and it should pull off.
  11. See bottom of attached for capacities and type of oil:
  12. This may help; It may be easier to fill from under the car based on where the plug is located.
  13. You are correct on the cars to be in the 40"s. The car on the left looks like a Chrysler product. The one on the right look like a General Motors product.
  14. The model 77 uses part number 303102. The Wagner part number is FC-1098 if that helps (from a 1939 parts book). All 3 hoses on the car are the same.
  15. I have used the company and they did a good job. Been running on that mag for about 10 years with no problems. http://www.mainelymagnetos.com/magnetos.html
  16. It looks like it has external brakes which I think makes it earlier than 1928.
  17. Read the craigslist in full again. Last attachment. See top of page. Owner put this in so I have to assume it is part of the car history. Correct me if I read it wrong.
  18. If you are interested in AACA trophies, document the spotlight or accept the point deduction. Your choice.
