  1. Gentleman, Thank you for your input with regard to the resotration of my fire damaged 55 Eldorado. After much research I have decided to send the car to Harbor Auto Resotration in Rockledge, Florida. I had the opportunity to inspect two recent restorations of a 55 Eldo and a 56 Eldo at the Cadillac LaSalle Grand National event in Savannah last weekend. The 55 Eldo took Best of Show at this Grand National. These two cars were stunning in their authenticity and beauty. Thank you for your help and consideration. Bill Podany Knoxville, TN

Can any member please provide me with leads regarding competent mechanical help and services in the East Tennesse area. I have no mechanical ability, but "Have Check Book, Will Write." These are nationally awarded first prize 100 point cars that I continually have to give them TLC. Any help will be appreciated.
  9. I am moving to Knoxville, TN the second week in August. I own two vintage Cadillac's. They are both 100 point first prize winning cars awarded from the AACA, CCCA, and CLC; they are a 1941 60 Special and a 1955 Eldorado. To maintain the authenticity and operating preciseness of these two vintage cars, I need to contact qualified mechanics, body shops and restoration specialists to maintain their present TLC. Any suggestions or leads from other AACA Members would be greatly appreciated.

  14. Shawn, Your commentary is profound and insightful with respect to the societal impact of the lack of mutual respect and courtesty so often not an individually ingrained value of our daily lives in America, today. I observe constantly the dangerous levels of carlessness and impatience by the driving public today, and it is often freighting. My prayers are with the family as they deal with this absolutely unnecessary devastation of life. May God bless them. As car people, we should all try constantly to be role models in our driving behavior regardless of the type of vehicle we are piloting. I also ride a Harley Davidson for recreation, and staying alive on a motorcycle and not getting involved in an accident requires incredible concentration and anticipation of potentially damaging situations. Most drivers seem to be seriously incompetent today. I will send a donation to this fine family.
  15. Does anyone know of any nice vintage, antique, or true classic automobile museums, collections, or even dealerships located in the Naples, Florida area? I am visiting there over the New Year's weekend. Any information would be greatly appreciated. I am a member of the AACA, CLC, and CCCA.
