  6. Could not have agreed with you more. It was great to meet you at the Event. I know it was hard for me, I could only imagine how hard it was for you to be there. I got the chills, watching that video by the Final 500 Alero, as the Final 500 collection of Oldsmobiles drove off into the sunset. Hopefully your trip back was good, and hope to catch up with you again sometime down the road. Happy Oldsmobiling Jim
  7. I do not know why they would like to have kept it a secret. Being an Oldsmobile dealership employee, sales consultant, I have seen that GM has written off Olds for more than a year now. No advertising, no recognition even in GM's Dealer Magazine, there has been no mention of Olds for about a year now. What is GM trying to hide, beside their mistake to close the 107 year old division.
  8. We have finally reached the sad sad day. The Last OLDSMOBILE to roll off the assembly line will be on the morning of this Thursday, April 29,2004 at the Lansing MI assembly plant. 13. On the old Oldsmobile website (a couple months ago)the was a section for info on the final 500 collectable Oldsmobiles. In the merchandise section, there was a posting to purchase models of the Final 500 cars. It stated info would be released at a later date. On the new website, there is no mention of the models. I wonder what happened?
