I just thought I could steam the wood and pull the door closed until it dried, there is no damage to the car or the door

My 29 DeSoto,door doesn't conform too to the body there is no damage to the door I think the wood frame inside may have warped has anyone fixed a door like this.It sticks out about 1 inch on the bottom.

They had some small clips that held them in if yours are like mine where someone had siliconed them in and I was able to work them free.

Good luck it took me years to find them,and i was lucky they left the adjusting arms inside

Cycle the ignition switch three times on off on off the third time leave it on and your codes will either show up on the check engine light if it is a code 23 it will flash twice the three times when it flashes a 5-5 it is done you have to count the flashes or look at your odometer it depends on the year

When I put my cars away I disconnect the battery and shut the door and don't open it till spring.I never start them because of the moisture from the cold engine heating up and then cooling.I done it this way for 40 years and have never had a problem.

The best way to check the u-joints is to remove the shaft and apply a little pressure in the direction as if it was moving forward and slide the ball and trunnion in and out and see if you feel a flat spot.It sounds like a drive shaft problem.

My 29 DeSoto keeps charging at 25 amps even though the battery is fully charged and no matter where i adjust the third brush.Any ideas :confused::confused:
