Les, Mopar had a EVS ll Security System with a remote door opener in there alarm package. It was called Mopar Electronic Vehicle Security. If your TC had this option, and if you were to decode your VIN number in the summary it would show as a dealer installed option. The code would be 4TXA.The Mopar EVS system was designed to fit the TC (Q Body). There probably are only a few TC"s left with this dealer installed option by the selected Chrysler dealers.

I will check the fuel pressure regulator & check to see if gas is getting into the rubber vacuum hose.Will change the O2 sensor when I get the chance for good preventative maintenance. Hopefully I dont have a leaky fuel injector. Thanks for your advice.

Back up lights work fine. No visable leaks, no smell of raw fuel in exhaust, no codes and my motor seems to run good. Transmission seams to shift fine. Do not now what ETAC means. Could it be oxygen sensor or something else?

Has gotten bad over a period of time. No changes or repairs before I noticed the decrease in mileage. Fuel injectors they all sound the same. No gas stains streaked under my car or where I park. No catalytic converter rattle, & does not get abnormally hot. No smell of raw gas. Yes have tried resetting all control modules to default by pulling battery cable. No difference in shifting & no stiffer than normal brake peddle.No brake light or abs light on. Do your back up lights still work? I will have to check that. What does that meen if they dont work?

I have no idea what my gas mileage is. My odometer is not working. Has around 100K on it.I have been running regular gas & it does have Ethanol in it.

I have a 1991 TC with a 3.0 V/6 & 4 speed auto trans. I am getting horrible gas mileage. I have cleaned the throttle body, replaced air filter, regaped spark plugs & had front end aligned & keep the tires properly inflated. No codes & it seams to start & run good. Any ideas what to do or check? I am frustrated. Thanks GQ

seems like someone put a J-Body 87-89 header,grill & bumper on a 89 TC. Why?

Question: Do you want in the data base other dead or gone TC"s also ? Many of us might know the were abouts of some of these other cars.

I will check both connections ASAP. It is just odd that no lights nor is there no noise of any kind. I guess there is no seperate fuse other than the radio & the antenna.

Greetings I have a 1991 TC by Maserati with the factory am-fm cassette & optional cd player. The radio & cassette works but cd player does not. No lights or any power from it. It has a compact disc in the unit. Is there a seperate fuse for the cd player? cable has a good connection to the cd player. Any other ideas our what to check? Any help is appreciated.

Inside the glove box is a push button switch that will open the trunk.

TexasLowell Check your connections at your brake light switch on the brake pedal first. If they are ok,you will probably need to replace the brake light switch (4373537). GQMP
