We went to the Iola meet for the first time in 2001. Found a few parts for my "30's" cars. Seemed to be a broad mix of things. We stayed on the grounds in or motor home - security was AWFUL! There were fireworks going off all night long, people running around yelling in the night. Big (too big) campfires during a very dry season in a grassy field filled with campers. People sitting in big easy chairs on top of their vans made it look pretty trashy. We'll not go back....unless they've improved control.

My vote for the worst design feature has to include every car I've owned that the oil filter is screwed on either sideways or upside down (Jeep Cherokee). But the overall worst was our '81 Buick Special, You had to remove the right front wheel in order to get to the oil filter for removal - which was another sideways filter. I wonder how many people were crushed to death changing their oil with one of these cars?

According to the Ddoge Brothers Master Parts list, there is supposed to be a weather seal for the '32 coupe trunk. It carries part number 345421. I don't know what it looks like, but it's the same part number for the DH,DI,DG,DL,DK,DO coupes. The earlier coupes do not show a weather seal. Your probably going to have to improvise. Larry
