  1. Hey, Dennis, we just love seeing these old DBs get back to their original selves whatever it takes. Rod van Pelt
  2. I really like your Dodge DA! Beautiful!! I have a '30 Dodge DA Deluxe with spare on rear and wooden wheels. It needs paint and upholstery. My first car and I still own it. Rod van Pelt Nebraska
  3. Dennis, I also have project tail light parts: (extra bucket and bezel) if you don't find anything at your swap meet. Rod
  4. Dennis, Mine will be free to you too. Take your pick, Bill's or mine. I emailed you. Rod van Pelt
  5. I saw this beauty in Estes Park, Co. at their car show on the 4th of July and thought I'd share the pics here. Quite a thrill to see one of 3 left! Rod van Pelt
  6. Jason, the threads are the same as the latter aren't they? It would work until he found a better correct one? Rod
  7. Dennis, your lens should not say DODGE, in my opinion. Rod
  8. Dennis, here are pics of my cap. Not gr8 but will keep you from leaking grease while driving your car until you find a better one. You might be able to work out some of the dings and it may clean up pretty good. Let me know if it'll work for you . Better ones come up on EBAY occasionally. Rod
  9. Mine isn't gr8 but might be better than what you have . I'll see if I can get a pic on latter today.
  10. Dennis, did you ever find a hub cap? I have one in fair condition that I replaced. You can have it for the postage to get you by until you can find a better one. Rod
  11. The lenses and buckets, repos and originals, come up occasionally on EBAY. I believe mine was plated because of being a DELUXE but others like in my pic were painted. The painted one came off of a Desoto so I believe Chrysler corp. cars all used the same Felite lamp as the DA Dodge series. Rod
  12. Dennis here's my tail light and lens for my Deluxe Business Coupe. Hope these help. Rod van Pelt
  13. Dennis, if you don't use the tail light bracket shaped like a walking cane, I would be interested in buying it. Thank you. Rod van Pelt
  14. Thanks to all of you that have posted pics of the old stations. I love them and everything that goes with them. Here are some pics of a few of my pumps. Thanks, Rod
  15. Dodgy6, thanks for the link. Yep, my grandads did wonders with their forges. I'm sure this one could be made, however, the front of the bracket, towards the car is not conduit or pipe. It is rounded after it leaves the bumper. I should post a pic of the front side. The wires would be only partially hidden. Thanks for your help. Rod
  16. GR8 looking car!! Really like the quality on this one. Like the tail light topper too! I think there are many more awards waiting down the road for you and your car. Enjoy!! Rod
  17. Yes, they are hard to come by as nobody has stepped up to offer me one. I may try to make one or would settle for a reproduction. Thanks, Jason and Dodgy6! Rod
  18. Back to the top. Anyone have an extra bracket like this? I have the tail light bucket. Thanks, Rod
  19. Another Rally in the book. Closing/award ceremonies were held at Tom Cozad's restored Ford garage in Gering, Nebraska with Coca Cola museum upstairs. You gotta see this if you're in the area. Rod
  20. I would like to add a tail light to the right side of my 1930 Dodge DA Deluxe Coupe for safety sake. I think I can bolt one on like the left bracket. Anyone have one for sale? Thanks for your help. Rod Bracket is held on with the 2 bolts, one is missing on mine. Thank for your help! Rod
  21. Thank you, Reganis Motors, who put on quite a "After Hours" meal free to the public at their dealership Friday evening with all the antique cars available to view. BBQ pork ribs, pulled pork sandwiches, sliced beef, chicken, salads, relish trays, deserts and soft drinks. What a treat after watching the cars return after a practice run. Going to go to the closing activities today at Tom Cozad's restored Ford garage today in Gering. What a day this will be! Hope to see you there! Rod
  22. Nice show, Nancy and Shade! Thanks for sharing. Rod
