  3. With web sites like google earth and zillow.com, there is no hiding anymore. Any of your neighbors can spy on you to see what you have behind that fence or hedge. Some municipalities do not allow "any" ungaraged unregistered vehicles, even if they are out of view.
  4. Sorry, Dodge already did the Texan in the 50's. How about LeFemme...... oh that was done too!!
  5. Mostly partly, with highs in the upper lowers, chances of increasing darkness towards evening, brightness towards morning........... <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

  7. This thread is probably destined for the basement.......
  8. I got 94/100. I was stumped by #9, #24 and #35. They look familiar but I just can't place them. I was born in 1957, so these are the cars I was watching as a child.
  9. "Jersey plates" That explains a lot.....that we are stronger than you.......??? <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
  10. How many tickets are left, and what happens if all are not sold? (Yes I bought mine at Macungie) <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />
  11. 65Newyorker, What class did you & Steve agree on for your beautiful New Yorker?
  12. You're welcome. The forums are a little quiet this time of year. Don't let that discourage you. Let me know if you have any other questions. Greg
  13. 65Newyorker, I checked out your home page and your New Yorker is beautiful. Good luck at Hershey, I will be there also, in Class 27J, going for a Repeat Preservation. You would be in class 27F for Class Judging, or HPOF (Historic Preservation of Original Features) If you go back to the AACA home page and click on Publications, and then click on Judges Manual, you can view the entire judges manual. I would advise also buying a copy to read cover to cover as I found that helpful before my car was judged for the first time. You can purchase it for $5.00 by clicking on Merchandise. Some advice, refrain from displays such as scale models, trophies, posters etc. Remember, it is the car being judged, not the other stuff. Keep that for the local shows. If your car has any unusual features that might be questioned by the judges, have the documentation on hand (such as factory literature) Also remove any aftermarket license plates/frames, floor mats, etc. It should be displayed as it was originally manufactured. Going for First Junior is very competitive, especially at a big show like Hershey. I will look for you at Hershey. Good luck!! (PS: my car is unrestored except for re-paint & detailing, and is driven to EVERY meet, and has gone from my first AACA meet in 2003, to Grand National First in a short 3 years. If you are not successful, try again because you will never lose to the same car again going for the same award, as they will move up the awards ladder to Senior etc.)
  14. HUH?? Is that the response you got? <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />
  15. BqUICK, Great looking car! I have always admired those Buick chrome road wheels and they look great on your Electra. Good luck with it.
  16. The Grand National Meet Results are now listed on the home page. This was my first AGNM also. Being that I do not have a trailer, west meets are too far, and with 2008 AGNM scheduled for Florida, it may not be until 2010 that I go for my Senior. Who knows what the future will bring. For now I am very grateful to have progressed this far. Greg
  17. Mark, www.awkscht.com click on registration The deadline is July 1 (postmarked), NO day of show registration. Good luck!
  18. I can confirm that "giant knot in the stomach" syndrome. I could not stay for the banquet due to a family illness. I found out after 10PM Saturday when I got a call. (Thanks, John & Bill). Overall a great meet and a great day.
  19. To all who were involved with the Dover AGNM, including the organizers, judges, tabulators, the local Delaware authorities, and mostly the host region, a hearty thank you for a great meet and a job well done.
  20. Thank you for the correction John. I was reviewing my judging manual just last night and saw that it is 380. I trust that you are judging, hope to see you there. This is my first AGNM also.
  21. This is why this club is so great, two excellent responses promptly posted within a minute of each other.
  22. Bill, Thanks for the response and invitation to your meeting. I will try to attend. If not, I will see you on Sunday.
  23. Bill, I was thinking about joining a region. I will inquire about it at the show. Yes, it is a great show. I will be there again this year. I offered to judge when I registered, but I haven't heard anything. Let me know. Thanks!
