  1. Looks like part of a bubble flare tool set.
  2. I seem to recall a couple that frequent the "What is it?" page.
  3. Good Luck! Please keep posting. I assume you have checked out Roger Zimmermans threads on the models he has done.
  4. I tried to give you 2 thumbs up.. One for the work and one for the son that was helping. Keep up the good work!!!
  5. I don't think it is any of those things Bernie. More likely, it is the fact that your posts are in a section of the forum that doesn't get much exposure. Maybe you could ask the mods to move this to the cars and restoration section. Lots of eyes on that one. I have no clue about the two copper pipes, other than maybe one is supply and the other return?
  6. I think this got it. 4 lug wire wheels, similar door handles and the vent in the cowl.
  7. OK! I had to show this to my Chinese wife and she started laughing. The characters are correct, but they are opposite of the arrows. The left arrow character say right and vice versa. Not sure why! lol 🤣
  8. Might be a late 30's Studebaker with a homemade cab. Seems to match a 1937
  9. Nope, not boring Bernie! Different time zones. Maybe switch this thread over to the Restoration Projects section and it would get more eyes on it. Frank
  10. Shoot Bernie! If I didn't talk to myself, I wouldn't have anyone to talk to most of the time!! lol
  11. I second this type of approach, but would probably use a dado setup and either the table saw or a radial arm saw.
  12. Good to hear Bernie! Looking forward to hearing more. Frank
  13. According to wikipedia (take that with a grain of salt!), the 6 cylinder pontiac was only offered in the 222.7 cubic inch displacement (commonly referred to as a 223CID) in 1939 and 1940. The following website lists the 223 in 1939 as having a bore and stroke of 3 7/16 inches by 4 inches, so your target bore size is .060 inches over the 3 7/16 or 3.4375 +.060 = 3.4975 inches. http://www.carnut.com/specs/gen/pont30.html Hope that helps! Frank
  14. WRT the windshield install, you are having the same problem I had when I tried to install the windshield in my 59 Corvette. I think the new glass is thinner and more prone to cracking when flexed. Letting a company do the install is the way to go.....tell them to bring extras! 🤣
  15. Merry Christmas to you and Helen, Bernie! Best wishes for the New Year!
  16. Prayers up for success in the surgery and a quick and complete recovery!
