  1. Yes, the 53 hanger is 1953 50-70 only, but the 54-55 will work also.
  2. You will need another antenna to fender adapter, different angle, but I think the threads are the same.

  7. I believe it is 1959-1960. Part number 1392988. Ring gear has 1170663 stamped, 43-14. Pinion has 1170664. Anyone with a catalog that confirms this? Gear ratio? Tom

  9. Need help finding the seal that will fit the car best. We experience problems with the repro; distance between wiper transmissions too short. Corners are not rounded as the original. Who makes a good copy of the original seal? TomP
  10. Just below the center (1957 Piston to the left), there is a hole, a vacuum port? There is no such port on the other one.
  11. Ok, thanks. all three photos shows the 1957 piston unit - should confirm that the left one in my picture to be correct for 1957. So the one to the Right with casting nbr 5454890; (higher number), will that be a 1959? Or?

  14. Need help identifying; To the left #5455825 casting nbr from a PB cylinder marked 1957. I bought the NOS piston right, should be 1957. Casting #5454890 - don’t have part number, but they are a little different. Is this NOS piston correct for 1957? TomP
  15. I have seen replacement push rods for 1953-55 can be thicker than the original slim ones, and they may hit the edge of the hole in the cylinder head. The manufacturer of the rods recommended widening the hole, we missed that info. Tom
