I believe it is 1959-1960. Part number 1392988. Ring gear has 1170663 stamped, 43-14. Pinion has 1170664. Anyone with a catalog that confirms this? Gear ratio? Tom

Need help finding the seal that will fit the car best. We experience problems with the repro; distance between wiper transmissions too short. Corners are not rounded as the original. Who makes a good copy of the original seal? TomP

Just below the center (1957 Piston to the left), there is a hole, a vacuum port? There is no such port on the other one.
-
Ok, thanks. all three photos shows the 1957 piston unit - should confirm that the left one in my picture to be correct for 1957. So the one to the Right with casting nbr 5454890; (higher number), will that be a 1959? Or?
-
Thanks, I am pretty sure that my left one is for 1957 - similar to yours. I see the casting nmbr on the piston to the right is lower - could be for earlier type? Anyone with a picture of a 56 Buick piston? TomP

interested, have shipping address in York, PA. Paypal ok? Tom

Need help identifying; To the left #5455825 casting nbr from a PB cylinder marked 1957. I bought the NOS piston right, should be 1957. Casting #5454890 - don’t have part number, but they are a little different. Is this NOS piston correct for 1957? TomP

I have seen replacement push rods for 1953-55 can be thicker than the original slim ones, and they may hit the edge of the hole in the cylinder head. The manufacturer of the rods recommended widening the hole, we missed that info. Tom

tompett replied to 48woodie's topic in Hershey Meet
If all the empty spaces used for parking will be offered for new vendors, will there be enough sellers to fill these spaces? How many people are waiting to get a free space to sell parts? Tom -
Great, waiting to hear from you. Tom

And I am interested in the 53 Spark Plug covers if selling. Also the air cleaner if 1953 4-barrel? Maybe this is a 53 Super engine with original 2 barrel, since they have switched to later intake manifold? Look for engine number, left side. TomP
